Duties and Responsibilities
Duties:
• Supervise all cataloguing of print books in the print library according the library of congress classification.
• Teaching library related courses along the year for UG students and Graduate students on how to use the Library resources and improve their skills with practicing the online resources like PubMed, ScienceDirect, EBSCO, etc…
• Conducting Workshops & presentations for Faculties introducing the university e-Library and e-Resources, with practicing examples for research.
• Holding the Library reservation and prepare the needed technology for the faculty (Audio materials - Projectors).
• Implement library policies, procedures and maintain an effective library service and classify all library materials with the library director.
• Ensure that the physical layout, furniture, equipment, floor load, climate control, lighting and electrical supply are adequate.
• Administrate & maintain all library systems & related operations including upgrading & taking backups (Koha LMS, Turnitin plagiarism system, Library guides system, reference management system, etc...).
• Maintain library equipment and belongings.
• Train the new library staff on how to use the Library System with all library operation and circulation, plus refreshment trainings for old staff after upgrades.
• Organize and supervise the library media and office routines ensuring reliability and confidentiality at all times.
• Prepare related library reports and statistics like information literacy reports and books reports and submit them to the Management.
• Manage the Interlibrary loan systems and literature research.
• Work very close with the management to prepare all accreditation reports and requirements.
• Manage the library databases subscriptions and renewals (eLibrary/journals).

• Maintain the library system.
• Administrating Moodle eLearning Management System design and manage any updates required.
• Create the all courses in Moodle.
• Enroll all Faculties & students in the proper courses in Moodle.
• Train all Faculties students How to use and access Moodle
• Support both Faculty & students in Moodle.
• Administer the UPP website & Drupal system.

- Represented my company in ProQuest Information and Learning Co. in their international annual meeting in Istanbul 2004 & attended the associated training course.
