Reporting to the Manager & responsible for the HSE issues to all levels of organization as per the requirements. Monitor and prevent potential workplace safety hazards through routine inspections and training; accurate and up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, and data; and investigations into accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.

• Daily site safety inspection to detect unsafe condition and practice.
• Performed daily walk-throughs for safety inspections of the facilities including fire systems. Documented and photographed findings and compiled and presented statistical data on safety activities to EH&S Manager. Coordinated the installation of fire extinguishers where necessary.
• Conducted fire safety audits on the buildings and ensured their compliance with the fire safety codes.
• Inspecting equipment, machineries and tools to ensure its safest and proper use to avoid and bypassing of safety devices.
• Follow up critical maintenance activities, confined space entries and hot jobs in the process units during normal and shutdown activities
• Provide advices and assistance on safety aspects to all Departments.
• Hold Safety meetings and evaluate the safety aspects of proposed operational activities and record concerns raised.
• Ensure conducting Tool Box Meeting for worker and supervisors.
• Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all employees at the required area and situations.
• Make employees to think of various Hazardous / Unsafe conditions involved in various operations before they are starting the work and hence to avoid unnecessary loss of man-hours & Property.
• Coordinated with the emergency service personnel and engineer and provided support on the technical aspect of the Fire Hazard Analysis.
• Prepare Activity Risk Assessment to all jobs before the start of any job with the Project Team.
• Developed the plant loss control program such as accident prevention, hazard analysis, training and inspection program and presented several professional seminars and presentations to train up the staff and employees.
• Report any lapses, near missies immediately and analyze different near miss occurrences and take appropriate action to avoid the repetition of same / similar occurrence in the future.
• Identified, recommended, and implemented ergonomic changes to reduce health and safety hazards. Worked with ergonomist to redesign employee work areas.
• Prepared the written documents for the Fire Protection to be followed by the subcontractors.
• Monitoring of Safety Work Permit systems.
• Analyses accidents and safety problems, determine causes, and recommends appropriate measures to prevent recurrence of such accidents.

• Maintained and performed weekly and quarterly inspections of the fire pumps and systems and identified the need for routine maintenance. Ordered charts and equipment for proper maintenance and established regular testing schedules.
• Maintained Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on chemicals used in the workplace.
• Provide a daily summary report of field HSE issues and activities including, HSE documentation, Risk assessment, JSA's, TBT, to the HSE Manager.
