Inspection of excavation, compaction, and Field Density Test (FDT) prior to lean concrete work.
Inspection of Formwork and Reinforcement work for footings and foundation prior to concrete and giving clearance for concrete work.
Coordinate with Consultant on all technical related issues.
Monitoring the concrete pouring work including air content test, slump test and temperature of concrete and ensure that enough number of vibrators are used for concrete work.
Monitoring and inspection of honeycomb rectification on concreted area prior to surface preparation.
Inspection of surface preparation for the footings, pedestals, foundations and retaining wall prior to the application of waterproof bituminous coat.
Review of construction materials to ensure that they match with Client’s specifications.
Location and elevation inspection of equipment foundations which includes anchor bolts and embedded plates.
Ensure that all equipment’s used are calibrated and with valid calibration certificate.
Witnessing and monitoring grouting activity after completion of structural and mechanical works.
Preparing weekly report of inspection activities.
Ensure that project construction activities are conducted in accordance with quality system.
Experience in Quality Control Works and quality assurance for the products with the relevant standards.
Inspection of works carried out by contractor and use surveillance report to document both acceptable and deficient works found at the time of inspection.
Coordination with client and contractor, attending weekly and monthly QA/QC meetings.
Issuance of NCR (Non-Confirmatory Report)/ Quality observations for quality control as per standards, codes and specifications.
Checking Survey points and levels in site as per IFC Drawing.
Verify all samples, certificates of laborites and field test and maintain all filling system for all quality control procedures, record, report etc.
Inspection of concrete pavement and asphalt pavement.
Inspection and witnessing grouting according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Responsible for quality assurance & quality control at the project site and report to the QA/QC Civil Engineering the issues related to non conformance & deficiencies in the quality management process at the site.
- Assist the QA/QC Manager in overall quality control of the site, provide advises & suggestion to improve quality control at construction site & assist project manager to achieve the target with respect to quality issues & ISO 9001:2000.
- Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparation of all related quality documents such as ITPs & Method Statements.
- Coordination & direct supervision on all activities related to laboratories & field tests.
- Conduct quality awareness meetings & inductions for project engineers, site engineers & other construction staffs.
- To prepare all documents related to inspection & attend all inspection for different individual activities of the site & ensure that it is as per latest approved drawings.
- Full supervision of concreting activity, Internal inspection for all activities on the site.
- Carryout all inspection with main contractor & client and get the approval.
- Follow up with the Handing Over procedure & requirements with the client to get the Acceptance certificate.
Develop project review procedure in conjunction with contractual requirements.
