• Conducting safe execution of all LV and HV electrical installation and Electrical Equipment Testing & commissioning activities within all Project to ensure contractors’ compliance with the approved procedures.
• Supervising & Inspecting Electrical installations and find out Technical issues, to ensure design and specifications and compliance with KAFD Requirements & Standards.
• Determining Materials and managing installation, maintenance, support, Estimation, and commissioning activities for all Electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
• Managing overall Construction activities with a view to enhance operational efficiency of Electrical installations and eliminating obsolescence.
• Reviewed Shop and As-built drawings, Materials submittals, procedures, project schedules, and work permits; and coordinates with the concerned departments for obtaining their approval and/or their comments.
• Reviews and provides guidance in problem areas, recommends solutions, alternatives, and improvements, and performs investigation of material and system failures.
• Organizes, coordinates, and conducts in conjunction with the concerned department's acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the completed permanent works until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off.
• Coordination with other utilities and disciplines
• Reviews contractors’ invoices for the electrical portion of the Projects.
• Attends the project's site meeting with the Construction team.

• Inspecting & monitoring completed Mechanical & Electrical installations and observe operations, to ensure design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
• Determining and managing installation, maintenance, support, Estimation, and commissioning activities for all Mechanical & Electrical systems to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements

Professional Experience in Preparing Material Packages involving Technical Specifications, Design Drawings & Tender BOQ.

Finalizing Commercial & Technical Evaluations through organizing meetings & detailed interactions with Vendors & Suppliers.

Confer with Engineers, Contractors & Client to discuss existing or potential Engineering projects & products.

Monitoring and performing technical audits, in progress inspections, testing and surveillance activities to ensure that project quality requirements are being met.

Planning and analyzing all possible construction methodologies and recommending the best options to the Asst. Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.

Perform front-end activities such as supporting the development of site automation plan, contributing to design of temporary facilities and utilities and supporting the development and implementation of field material control system.

Managing directly and providing engineering and technical supports to all the electrical groups at site

Ensuring that all works are performed safely and in accordance with the Projects procedures & specifications and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.

Performing all field engineering for discipline requirement and inputting of actual quantities installed on a daily basis.

Perform quality inspections and liaise with the Consultant's inspection group to ensure they are advised to attend inspections as required.

Raises Non Conformance Reports for any defective or non-conforming workmanship or materials.

Ensuring that Non Conformance Reports and Corrective Actions are prepared, collated and that they are closed out.

Ensure the Contractors prepare documentation for field tests that require review and approval by the Consultant.

Work closely with the Construction Superintendents to ensure that the contractors produce the required quality of work in line with the Projects drawings and specifications.

Attending Project progress meetings and deliver a status of site engineering activities.

Complete all the responsibilities associated with the position as required by the Chief Field Engineer & Assist in the preparation of any procedures that may be needed to execute the Project

Attending drawing approval meetings and handling technical specifications.

Dealing with the Consultants Engineers for Resolving issues related to site.

Maintaining & submitting the weekly and monthly Minutes of meeting to the project manager.

Following up with the Sub-contractor’s Engineers and supervisors in order to expedite the project.

Supervising the Installation of L.V systems including first fix & Second Fix.

Reviewing of the progress billing of the project submitted by Sub contractor.

Following up with QC Inspector to verify the RFI’s and MIR’s related to electrical works.

Reading and executing the Shop Drawings of Lighting system layout and Power system layout, Cable tray and cable routing layout.

Load calculations for Lighting system, Power system, Preparation of line diagrams and distribution diagrams of Lighting system and Power system.

Selection of Circuit Breakers, Busbars, Panel boards and Switch Boards.

Supervising the day to day work at site.

Resolving issues related to project as per the requirement.

Submitting the daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Project Engineer.

Cable sizing by voltage drop calculations, short circuit current calculations.

Preparations of Bill of Quantity (BOQ).

Review commissioning and start up strategies for electrical equipment, high voltage, medium voltage, equipment and day-to-day electrical issues.

Monitoring work activities to ensure effectiveness and adherences to scope and Electrical Standards.

Review design basis for interlocks, electrical power distribution, area classification, and National Electrical Code compliance, and/or all governing or adopted codes, as needed.

Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations etc.

Provide technical suggestions for engineering contractors on electrical power systems.

Estimating the time scope and Planning for the Project from the beginning to the end of the project.

Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.

Attending drawing approval meetings and handling technical specifications.

Dealing with the SEC Engineers and Municipality for Resolving issues related to site.

Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations etc.

SITE ACTIVITIES:

Supervising the Erection of OHTL (Overhead transmission line) and replacing with new UTL (Underground transmission line).

Supervising Excavation of cable trenches for the Installation of Underground cables i.e. cable laying of all types (L.V, M.V, & H.V).

Instructing & supervising the Site team for detecting Faults in emergency shutdowns in infrastructure maintenance division in the Riyadh City.

Installation & Erection of Substation of all types H.V, M.V & L.V as per the requirement.

Installation of Transformers, R.M.U (Ring Main Unit), LVDB (Low Voltage Distribution Board), Circuit Breakers, Bus bars, Switches, etc.

Installation of Switch boards, Meter boxes, Minipiller cabinet, Load panels, Control panels, etc.

Involved in the design calculations like C.B (Breaker) selection, D.B selection, Transformer selection, wiring Selection and estimating quantities.

Also Involved in testing like Transformer testing, cable testing, phase to phase Terminations, R.M.U testing &

Preparation of the final billing of the project as per SEC Standards and Submitting.
