Responsibilities:-
• Rendering valuable guidance to the Managers for the implementing all statutory requirements related to Safety, Health & Environment
• Ensuring and monitoring the implementation of HSE policy, procedure, HSE Plan and guidelines .
• Accountable for incident/ near miss /accident reporting, recording and investigation.
• Accountable for safety sampling and surveys for analyzing unsafe acts and conditions for a particular operation.
• Prepare Shift report, weekly and monthly HSE performance reports.
• Conducting safety inspection of the container vessel, cargo ship and keep on advising operation to follow safe work system.
• Responsible for detection & reporting of unsafe conditions & unsafe acts through daily safety inspection in the yard, buildings, areas of ship building / ship repair and onboard vessels.
• Developed safety training to employees to enhance knowledge and competency.
• Create safety awareness among all employees on the serious incident / Near miss / Safe work practice.
• Prepared and deliver toolbox talk.
• Ensuring timely arrangement and maintenance of the firefighting equipments, organizing Fire Safety & Fire Fighting trainings / drills.
• Conduct monthly Safety Committee meeting and prepare Minutes.
• Checks and ensures compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System / Procedure in accordance with local regulation imposed.
• Review risk assessment and method statement prior to issue site work permits to the contractors.
• Coordinating with staff during emergency and critical situation.
• Conduct Safety indoctrination/induction trainings to all new employees in the worksite.

Responsibilities:-

Assist with the monitoring and reporting on execution of the HSE Management System at the project/site level.
Assist with the coordination of orientation and HSE training.
Assist with maintaining the HSE related records and documentation.
Attend HSE meeting and consult with the HSE Manager on HSE issues.
Verify that first aid and emergency procedures are in place within a project.
Conduct routine/ general area inspection and check list for heavy equipment on regular basis.
Rerecord all accident/ incident and report to HSE Manager.
Prepared and distribute toolbox talk.
Hazard identification and analyzing the risk factor in the site.
Attending HSE meetings and Mock drills.
Issue of work permits according to the work in progress
Recording, rectification and identification of nearmiss and accidents.
Maintain and update HSE Notice Board.
Deliver Tool Box Talks on regular basis to employees.
