• Take off quantities & Preparation of Bills of Quantities based on the standard method of
measurement
• Preparation of Pretender Estimate and advice to the client on project cost before the tender
float
• Tendering and procuring, including preparation of tender documents, tender queries, post
tender clarifications, tender analysis, producing the tender report, and compiling the contract
documentation
• Review the contractors interim payment application and issue payment certificate
• Fully study and understand tender documents and preparing work to be estimated by
gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications & other related documents, raising necessary
tender clarifications and keep close coordination with clients to finalize the actual scope of
work.
• Quantity Pre-measure preparation of MTO & BOQ and actual vs contract quantity comparison
sheet from AFC drawings.
• Feasibility study of client or subcontractor request for any dispute.
• Preparation of Material on-site Report.
• Prepare and submit the variations, follow up, and agreeing with consultants.
• Evaluating sub-contractors variations and issue Variation orders.
• Update and maintain the Change log.
• Preparation of Subcontractors Interim payment certificate.
◦ Assist to Prepare and
Subcontractors Final Account
• Evaluating tender documents, drawings, specs & schedules.
• Take-off quantities from drawings and prepare BOQ or cross-check BOQ quantities with
drawings and identify the additional items if any.
• Send inquiries to subcontractors, and suppliers and follow- up for quotations.
• Compare and prepare adjudication reports for the quotation of sub-contractors and
suppliers.
• Preparation of Rate Analysis/Rate Build-up
• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare the Commercial document for the tender
submission.
