Being an Environment Professional working as a Commercial Manager in FM industry is a great experience. I have implemented environmental strategies and conservation steps in the facility management operations and contracts to minimize the damage caused by housekeeping chemicals drained in the sewage. Also, I lead a team of around 50 technicians and the supporting staff working in FM projects like cleaning,
maintenance, gardening and Landscaping. Other responsibilities and achievements include
• Project Management with comprehensive Work Plan and smart administration.
Approximately 20% of resources loss is saved by using coordinated planning and AI (CAFM, MS Office etc.) in project implementation
• Contracts Management, Negotiations and take initiatives to increase clientele
• Project Presentations, Progress and Completion Reports, Client Feedback
• Registration on new procurement platforms (like SAM, TAWREED, ASYAD, Tender
Board and more) for possible RFQ’s
• Performance Evaluation of Staff using records, safety reports and set KPI’s for future evaluation and periodic monitoring of progress
• Make notes on Project Meetings, Site visits, Client feedback and formulate plan
according to their requirements and available resources

I have successfully applied the Environmental Protocols and Chemical Procedures for the waste management on 3R principle. Also, I carried EIS studies for different waste disposal processes and recycling. Consolidated laboratory reports of water and air quality at waste disposal sites and application of biodegradable agents to minimize
pollution. My duties also included
• Maintaining Office records and presenting the progress reports in meetings
• Drafted project asset book with procurement details (time and source)
• Formulating the SOW for New RFQ’s and Tenders and submission of proposals
• Obtain NOC from the regulating Authority for the recycling of waste and disposal and ensure Compliance Report
• Subcontracting non-recyclable waste to Registered Vendors

This was my first international assignment. I joined Amlak Liwa International LLC with enthusiasm and opportunity to develop standard protocols in cleaning industry and address the environment while providing facility management services at the door step. My duties in the company were
• Formulated Environment and Climate Change Policy, Labor Policy for the company
• Designed Periodic Training Schedule for the project team including safety training
• Meetings to increase Clientele
• Respond to the RFQs and procurement from the market
• Approved 1st Environment and Safety Policy, Approved Operational Standards
Used: MS Office, Group Discussions, Air Quality Testing Devices, OSHA

Besides teaching at this research university, I also developed students’ interpersonal skills for the betterment of the Environment. We made a student social society named AWKUM GREENS which acted as a platform to carry Environment Awareness
Programs like Plantation Campaigns, Organized events like World Water Day, World Environment Day and others.

Recruited in a project of research and development by COMSATS Abbottabad in collaboration with University of Life Sciences Norway in Swat. Duties included data collection on social structure and livelihood practice in relation to climate change in the area. Earlier during my studies our team made solid waste management plan for Mirpur village of Abbottabad under leader ship of Asim Jahangir Khan Assistant professor COMSATS Abbottabad.

Monitoring project activities in Alternate Energy Program of Early Recovery in flood affected areas. Also project activities report were noted down in the field and presented to the planning and development team in meetings. Responsibilities included capacity building of local communities to plant trees against microhydel plants and biogas units. Project successfully concluded in its record time and benefited flood affected areas and conserved the nature by the plantation of trees in the area. I gained field experience of working in field under pressure and limited time. I also submitted future forecast to the manager by assessing the time taken in project activities at short periodic intervals. This was highly appreciated and the project was successfully completed on time.
