I have been working as a translator since I graduated in 2009. I started at first with some local businesses in Mansoura city. Afterwards, I began to work with websites like Tomedes and Proz and have international clients. I have worked on a wide range of projects including technical, military, health, defense, education and marketing projects. I also provide other services like voice over, transcription and copywriting. In addition to that, I run a blog specialized in scientific and technical news. I worked on tens of special projects that are related to very important organizations such as Saudi Defense Ministry, Safeworld and WHO. I also Localized many websites, online stores and video games.

Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Pennsylvania State University
  • United States
  • August 2014 to May 2015

I was so lucky to have the opportunity to go to USA to participate in the one year grant offered by Fulbright Institute. I taught Arabic as a foreign language and studied linguistics classes. I was also considered as a cultural ambassador to represent my culture. By the end of the semester, my students were intermediate Arabic speakers, they knew a lot about the Arabic culture and were able to sing Arabic songs. I developed lessons plans and adopted many ESL activities to suit Arabic lessons.
