Senior MEP Engineer- D uties & Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and participate in implementing building design and execution of contracting projects.
Review submitted consultant and contractor proposals and submissions.
Manage approvals, completion of work and payment of project consultants and contractors.
Uploading Civil Defence, Kahramaa, Municipality, MOI, Woqod documents and obtaining approvals. Fire fighting, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, Fuel, Cameras and other system.
Project scope and perform project estimates. Ensure project estimates are accurate and the project scope is executable within the budget.
Assist the procurement team with procurement strategies. Prepare technical site visit and progress update reports.
Coordination and oversee subcontractor project execution. Prepare project implementation schedules.
Communicate project, subcontractor, and package updates to engineering team and management. Plan and oversee start-up, testing and commissioning functions.
Schedule and plan subcontractor site visits and data collection. Review subcontractor BOQs and invoices for accuracy and completion.
Verify subcontractor completed works are in line with contract requirements.
Coordinate with clients on project documentation, health and safety requirements and subcontractor compliance.
Create project RFPs based on project requirements and float them for tender and bidding in the market.
Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design, etc. ) with Main Contractor and Consultant to discuss key issues related to the project and take effective corrective actions.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Chief Facility Engineer - D uties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of buildings and services.
Manage, supervise, and coordinate the work of contractors.
Investigate the availability and suitability of options for new premises.
Calculate and compare costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling.
Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation.
Conduct Safety induction and escape route mock drill to keep staff safe.

Review the tender & IFC drawings and discrepancies to be reported to PM/RE/Head of MEPof the project within a maximum 3 weeks of project commencement. Attend the factory visits, witness third party tests as directed by PM.
Review and comment on the Contractor material submission, shop drawings, record drawings, as built drawings, method statements, ITPs, 0&M manual, as per contract documents. Release the documents within 7 days after the review and in coordination with other trade discipline engineers as required.

Assist QS in monthly payment certification. Release the executed work percentages within 2 days of receipt of contractor submission.

Inspect and prepare snag list and do continuous follow up with the concern to close the issued snag.
Routine inspections to be carried out to ensure that the Contractor is executing the project as per the contract requirement. Issue ‘CAR’ or ‘NCR’ in consultation with RE/PM as and when non-compliance is noted. Working on Snagging, De-snagging, Punch list, OMM, Training, Handing over to client.
