Working as Mechanical Supervisor for 1390MW Integrated Solar Combined Cycle Power plant for Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) at Waad Al Shamal, Turaif, Saudi Arabia.
• Responsible for erection of 4 No’s of HRSGs (400 TPH each) and fabrication and erection of Steam water cycle piping.
• Assisting in the construction of Air cooled condensers.
• Reviewing of Piping Isometrics, P&ID & General Arrangement Drawings (GAD).
• Implementation & Execution of works as per Approved Work Procedures & as per ASME, ASTM standards.
• Ensuring the proper completion of the work on schedule with approved drawings, specifications, cost & quality limitation.
• Providing Mechanical Clearance to Piping contractors for further Hydro-testing.
• Pushing & helping the subcontractor to achieve the goal as per the planned activities.
• Preparation of measurement/invoice of subcontractors/agencies.
• Coordinating with Client, consultant & contractor.
• Solving day to day site related operational problems.
• Preparing inspection reports, daily progress report, closing of WDR, issuing NCR to the subcontractor & subcontractor billing work.
• Monitoring subcontractors work to ensure proper compliance with all technical aspects.
• Monitoring performance of subcontractors & trying to increase their productivity.
• Supervised combined cycle power plant, Piping, HRSG & Other equipment and successfully completed Shutdown activities in HRSG.
• Erection and installation of all types of pumps based on the isometrics and GA drawings.
• Hands-on experience in the area of carbon steel, alloy steel piping fabrication, stainless steel fabrication etc.
• Knowledge of various welding techniques used in stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel fabrication of piping.
• Planned, Discussed, & executed the job with Site Engineers & Supervisors.
• Arranged various types of Work Permits (Hot/Cold/Work at Height/Vehicle entry/ Confined space) according to the site requirement.
• Planning & Coordination of manpower, equipment’s & materials.
• Final line checking of the pipes and then performed hydro testing.
• Project Co-ordination with various departments like QA/QC, Technical Services, Planning, Safety and Materials department for the smooth run of the project.
• Reports for updating management on progress & Status of progress.
