the overall
• Increased the production yield of White Spirit by adjusting the following parameters:
(1- minimized Feed, 2- increased Boiler Temperature, 3- and increased Reflux Ratio).
• Modified reboilers and the second Distillation Column of Kerosene to operate using
used oils/waste oils to reduce the environmental impact.
• Prepared KPIs for Boilers, Cooling towers, and Heat-Exchangers.
• Prepared PFD and P&ID as built drawings for the Kerosene Distillation unit.

• Reduced water treatment cost for a petrochemical plant by prepared
proposal for mini-treatment unit that treat the contaminated water (oily
waste water)
• Managed decontamination/purging for the groundwater and cleaned 80%
concerned area.

Key Accomplishments:

• Attended sour water stripping and condensate steam recovery unit commissioning sessions to increase knowledge.
• Developed conversion factors table to covert levels in vessel that helped operators in accurate calculations.
• Led commissioning and start-up of sour water stripping unit in Khartoum refinery.
• Reduced frequent leakage by resizing condensate steam pipe.

PROCESS ENGINEER/ PANEL OPERATOR/ FIELD OPERATOR

Duties
• Optimizing unit(s) energy consumption and find out operation improvement opportunities.
• Co-operating with Technical department to set standards and procedures for routine monitoring of various operating parameters in the assigned unit(s).
• Contributing in preparing safety talks to all shift staff.
• Authorized to Issue maintenance work requests, permits and material requests.
• Preparing daily/weekly/monthly material & energy balances and chemical consumption reports.
• Monitoring and checking plant operation conditions from the field and DCS.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for carrying out normal operation, shut down, start up and emergency shutdown of the assigned unit(s).
• Responsible for determining the need for repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Responsible for issuing daily operation orders and instructions to field operators.
• Responsible for organizing/coordinating/conducting training sessions for operators and follow their career development.
