Located at Dubai, Burgman Tower 20th floor, LACASA is a prominent design and consultancy house that is quality driven and is reputed to meet engineering challenges with promptness and utmost accuracy.

Responsibilities,
Assigned full supervision and project management responsibilities for the following:
• Sky courts residential development, for M/s National Properties, that includes 2 Basements, 3 floors Podium that serves 6 towers of 24 floors each housing a total of 2836 apartments, equipped with swimming pools, health club, restaurants and shops. Located in the heart of Dubai land, opposite to the academic city and the Dubai silicon oasis.

• Esplanade mixed use development project of 289, 000 M2, for M/s Muzzon Holdings. Located at Al-Barsha area, and across from the Emirates Mall, the project includes 2 Basements, a 3 floors Podium that caters for 8 Towers varying from 8 to 24 floors. The development includes a 5 star Hotel, serviced hotel apts., office block, theme and specialty restaurants, a health spa and a landmark esplanade.

• Flamingo creek residential and retail development for M/s National Properties, Flamingo Creek LLC. The project comprises of 244 Villa-style apartments and town houses, conceived as a sanctuary of serenity and natural beauty amidst a unique environment of Dubai famed creek.

• Al-Barsha Office Building for M/s Deyar. The project is comprised of an office building in the heart of the business area of Al-Barsha and is of 2 basements, GF and 6 floors.

Dead Sea Spa Hotels Company located at Shumaisani Business Area - Al- Quds Bldg. - 6th floor - Amman, Jordan, The company is a prominent hotel and resort owner and operator in Jordan and is the owning company of Dead Sea Spa Hotel, partner in Radisson SAS Hotels Jordan.


Responsibilities,
Employed on consultancy basis for Dead Sea SPA Hotel extension project of 14, 000 M2 of rooms and 12, 000 M2 public areas, and the renovation of the existing 18, 000 M2 of hotel buildings. Further, to revamp the maintenance dept. operations at the hotel.

My duties included
- Exploring the owner/operator's requirements and introduce design criteria to the consultant
- Oversee the design stages and insure that the designs confirm to all local and international codes of operation and safety standards, design fits purpose, meets with zoning commission regulations, allows for proper maintenance activities to take place, allows for future expansions and additions without major alterations, designed for optimum usage and none is redundant or not needed
- Insure costs of operation are at the minimum possible, materials used are of high quality and least maintenance requirements, and equipment used are locally supported as possible.
- Further to supervise the execution and the technical content of the project as well as the financial aspects.


Overall responsible for project organization and management, relations with the clients, the financial follow-up and budget control, project planning, implementation of quality procedures and applicable environmental procedures, control over various relations with the local authorities, and all other related tasks.

Projects managed are well over 214, 000 M2 which included: Truck workshop facilities, car workshops and office facilities, Spare parts warehouse, Medical Hospital for speech and hearing impaired, Private company owner villa residences, and other recreational facilities.

Facilities Lease Management & Maintenance Operations Section,

Responsibilities,
With a team of 3 Area Maintenance Managers, 110 field staff technicians, our responsibilities included,

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the Property Maintenance Departments kingdom wide and institute effective preventive maintenance system and make regular inspection to Depots.
• Liaise with contractors and keep abreast of developments and trends within the building industry, and keep up with government, environmental, health and safety requirements.
• Exercise strict and effective control on inventories, budget, expenditure, and accountability and office procedures.
• Improve the technical expertise of the Maintenance Department staff by example and on-the-job training.
• Maximize productivity by efficient allocation of tasks related to properties and trades required based on geographical diversities.

Reason for Leaving: Pressing family issues at home country.

Hyatt Hotels is a world known hotel chain company. Orascom Hotels Development is also a world known hotel owner, developer and operator in the middle east area.

Responsibilities,
As Director of Engineering for the Hyatt Regency Taba Heights Resort, I was responsible for the maintenance dept. function, planning, supervising engineering staff, promoting proper understanding of the maintenance function, preventive and pro-active maintenance programs.

Taking the responsibility for cost control, shop qualification to quality and safety standards, developing internal policies and procedures, conducting cost benefit reviews and providing technical guidance. Performing pre-opening activities, including preparation for the initial handing over from the contractor for all hotel systems to assure compliance with Hyatt standards of operations.


Reason for Leaving: After Sept.11 events and due to unrests at Sinai and for security reasons HYATT international staff vacated the area of Taba and I choose to return to Zahid Tractor.

Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery, is a well known leader in the Heavy Machinery industry including Caterpillar, Ingersoll-Rand, Demag, Lorain, Peerless, Ameise, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Cars and Renault Cars. Further own and operate Zahid Industries, making sound attenuated enclosures, IATA certified Zahid Travel Agency and Zahid-Heanor which offers complete transport services from heavy lift capabilities to parcel deliveries.K-5 Mekkah Road, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities,
Responsible for the company maintenance dept operating in the western region of the kingdom. Responsible to plan, cost control, proper design of systems, proper selection and installation of equipment, monitor the performance of the systems both effectively and efficiently. Responsible to develop critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring techniques, review deficiencies, provide technical guidance on CMMS systems, maintain and advise on the uses of inventory items and surplus and rental equipment. Responsible to promote equipment standardization, shop and contractor qualification to quality and safety standards, develop internal policies and procedures, cost-benefit reviews, and provide technical guidance for preventive and pro-active maintenance programs.
Responsible for company new projects in the capacity of Area Construction Manager.

Reason for Leaving: An opportunity to work with an International Hotel chain to complete the requirements for AFE, US Certification/License for a Certification of Plant Maintenance Manager.

Jordan Holiday Hotels Company is the oldest existing hotel company in Jordan that owned and operated the prominent Philadelphia Hotel Amman, and Holiday Hotel Aqaba, which was known as Radisson SAS, and currently holds the LandMark branding. Also part owner of Dead Sea Spa Hotel and Grand View Hotel at Petra.

Responsibilities,
As Chief Engineer for the Radisson SAS Amman, and Later as Chief Engineer for both Radisson SAS Amman and Radisson SAS Aqaba. In total 530 rooms and suites During 1994 promoted to Regional Projects & Maintenance Manager

As the Projects Manager and Owner representative on all major projects performed directly by the owning company.
We have completed the following projects:
• Renovation of the Radisson SAS Hotel Amman
• Additional block of 72 Rooms and a 2200 m2 ballroom, magnificent column free hall that is the largest and most prestigious ballroom in Jordan and can accommodate up to 2000 guests.
• Renovation of the Radisson SAS Aqaba
• New Hotel Building of 214 Rooms for Radisson SAS, Aqaba.
• Renovation of the Dead Sea Spa Hotel, Dead Sea
• New Hotel Building for Dead Sea Spa Hotel.
• New Construction of the Grand view Hotel Petra
• Renovation of the ministry of tourism.

Planning Engineer

Kuwait prefabricated Buildings Company
Al-Rai industrial area, Kuwait.

A major contractor, who owned and operated a pre-cast concrete factory and took on many housing development projects at Kuwait

Responsibilities,
As a Planning Engineer for a 405 villa housing project, complete with all infrastructural works required for the residential development, I was responsible for time schedules for housing company projects coordinating closely with pre-cast factory planning divisions and the construction team site management, ensure that all resources are properly accounted for and there availability time are compliant to the site needs.

I was also responsible to insure that all maintenance schedules on the equipment are effectively and efficiently followed, monitor programs for critical equipment analysis and use condition monitoring techniques. I was involved also in the financial side of the planning division to insure that the work trend and progress is compliant with cash flow expected.
