• Implementation and installation of micros 3700 Restaurant Enterprise system on Sybase SQL Database.
• Performing day-to-day micros operations and Support functions both on site and remotely through, VPN connection, WebEx etc...
• Implementation of latest released Database patches and up gradation of the micros systems
• Execute customer visits, presentations, Training customers staff.
• Communicate information proactively with other Solution Consultants across the company either in POS or PMS (Opera) relating to latest development in its deployment/upgrades.
• Serve as individual contributor as well as team member regarding all technical activity
• Conducting user training on micros products, product workshops and product demos./’
• Ensuring MICROS at customer’s side gets upgraded time to time or as per customer’s requirement or as per kingdom norms .e.g... Arabization of Micros systems.
• Handling most of the systems & Network administrations day to day tasks
• Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT manager
• Providing desktop and server support
• Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange
• Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops Provide first level support for all hotel systems.
• Ensuring proper Wireless Internet connectivity in the wide spread Employee Housing Compound.
• Identify, train and develop an appropriate staff member to provide continuity of I.T. related services
• Ensure that staff are regular re-trained as hotels systems change.
• Ensure all hotel based systems (software / hardware) are appropriately secured.
• Provide regular and scheduled system maintenance/backups i.e. daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Ensure timely back ups are performed, verified and stored appropriately.
• Maintain Assets of I.T of the property.
• Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes/Data files .
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
• Design LAN/WAN network solutions
• Manage Network device assets
• Administer the IP addressing scheme
• Establish wire and fiber standards
• Specify and order all networking hardware and materials
• Administer network device maintenance programs contracts
• Works as a resource / member to project teams.
• Provide leadership on medium to large Network projects.
• Responsible for communicating / coordinating Networking changes.
• Responsible for maintaining strong vendor relationships with major suppliers.
