• Carry out of technical maintenance for all desktop, laptop computers, and their peripherals, including hardware and software.
• Installation and operation of computers and their peripherals including the applications necessary for their work, in addition to connecting these devices to the university's computer network.
• Periodic maintenance of the computers and peripherals when needed.
• Follow-up the permanence of the work of computers and peripherals.
• Follow up of the computer laboratories management application (Net Support).
• Installation of anti-virus application and another applications on the employees laptops and PC’s
• Development of technical specifications for computers and their peripherals and study the associated purchase orders and bids.
• Follow up of supplying companies in addition to the free warranty and emergency maintenance procedures for the section's equipment.
• Connecting computers to Active Directory in cooperation with the Department of Information Infrastructure.
• Maintenance Workshop, which main work is hardware maintenance of computers and peripherals.
Manage and resolve client tickets requests.
•Follow up client tickets where necessary.
•Act as a first point of contents by placing client tickets in ITG ticketing system and identify issues to level two and three operations
•Trouble shoot significant client service problems
Duties & Responsibilities
•Handling all the customer complaints by making sure the customer is satisfied
•Following up with the other departments for the customer to make sure the service provided in a timely manner
•Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
•Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
•Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
•Place or cancel orders.
