During tenure with M&M have worked on developing comprehensive Strategies in Sourcing, material cost reduction and supply chain for Child Parts of Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicle (LCV’s & HCV’s), Tractor, 2 Wheelers, Construction Equipment’s and Gensets.

Area of Exposure:

Strategic Sourcing:
•Create long term Differentiated sourcing strategies aligning with company’s vision.
•Nurture amicable relationship and create mutually beneficial connection with Supplier.
•Incubate new technology in products thereby creating value for end customer.
•Ensure Product Development requirement by awarding business to technical and commercial competent suppliers.
•Supply Risk Management: Systematic analysis of various risk elements of the supplier business and move to Pro-active mode risk management.
•Organize and Participate in Technology Shows and Symposium for identifying potential collaboration with suppliers.
•Ensure high ethical standards and transparency in the procurement process

Pricing:
•Negotiate terms of Business with supplier within Business case, namely component Price, Tooling & Engineering cost, year-on-year discounts & other terms.
•Enhance bottom-line by reducing the Material cost through upfront business discount, managing Share of Business & Alternate sourcing, VAVE, Import Localization, LPP, Packing & logistic improvement etc.
•Minimize commodity impact on Material cost by managing Raw Material variations through consortium & Budgeting.
•Reduce FOREX impact on Material cost by ensuring localization of the Tier I & II imports.
•Overlook updates in SAP ERP Eg. Vendor Master, Price, SOB, Payment & Delivery terms.

Supply Chain:
•Ensure smooth material supply chain through Capacity signoff with suppliers for Monthly requirement with adequate buffer to take care of peak market requirement.
•Provide leadership and direction to receiving personnel to facilitate on-time deliveries.
•Analyze Changes in Production Plan and take necessary actions to manage capacity, material and other constraints.
•Develop and/or modify appropriate policies and procedures for managing supply chain for improvements, in collaboration with other manufacturing locations.


Project Management:
•Drive and Monitor Project Progress and report to Senior Management about the achievements, also Proactively flag any potential risk areas and ensure a mitigation plan.
