Designated as Assistant Manager Planning (Brooks Brothers-Mumbai, 10 stores Pan India)
• Sales and Key Performance Indicator Analysis (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly),
• Season Review, Growth Mapping, Product and Category Analysis.
• Sell-thru and Stores performance analysis, stock liquidation.
• Conducting quarterly audits at stores and even warehouse
• Target facing at Brand Level and Store Level(divided into month and week) for financial year
• Budgeting and planning for financial year to ensure that L2L growth is achieved
• Seasonal OTB (Open to buy) / Inventory Planning for Core Line and for Fashion as per budgeted sales plan
• Maintain 90 days stock cover across all categories in the stores across the region.
• Maintain stock balance and ensure high productivity across stores
• Ensure availability of stock at the stores as per initial allocation to achieve the stores seasonal target
• Manage replenishment for stores based on stock performance and availability
• Analyze sales trends to get the right mix at the store level
• Prepare the EOSS discount working and obtain approval from finance and central planning team for implementation in the region
• Control warehouse and store inventory levels
• Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly planning reports on Sales, Stock, & Margins
• As part of the additional responsibility will look into some part of store operations.
Store Operations Manager - (Quiksilver & Steve Madden, Dec’11 till Sep’15)
• 5+ years of experience in managing the operations team and in delivering the results beyond the expectations.
• Committed towards the organization goals and leading the team in planning and execution of the tasks.
• Strong technical knowledge on the business process and imparting necessary training to the team towards the effective handling of the work.
• Rendered cross-functional support and on time reporting to the management on the performance.
• Good knowledge of financial and HR principles of the business.
• Excellent people’s person in motivating, delegating, persuading and taking the team along to achieve the objectives of the organization.
• Overseeing the hiring of Fashion Consultants and Managers.
• Responsible for training and induction program for new employees.
• Ensuring a consistently high standard of product presentation and customer service in all stores.
• Working closely with visual merchandisers and regularly change store VM to have the freshness at the store.
• Maintaining accurate records of all pricing, sales and activity report.
• Controlling shrinkage, wages, write-off, cash control and store expenditure.
• Marketing of brand by participating in EDM shows and special promotional events.
• Queries, problem solving and providing detailed information on new products.
• Manage weekly inventories & Hands on experience in ensuring proper merchandise presentation.
• Proficient in understanding marketplace needs and strategies needed to drive sales
• Coordinate sales promotions and provide sales targets.
• In depth knowledge of controlling store expenses to maximize profitability.
• Communicate with customers to receive their valuable feedbacks and suggestions to improvise on products and services.
• Responsible for the opening of 2 new stores.
• Periodic one on one session with manager and store staff to understand training needs, product feedback and the requirements of subordinates.
• Weekly review with managers to understand the topline and to forecast the coming weeks and plan the strategies accordingly.
