• Construction of 20.5 km length of potable water network of DN 800, 700&600 (DI) and OD 560&355 (HDPE) pipelines including 4 bulk connections.
• Construction of interface connection with TRANSCO existing DN 1000 main pipeline.
• Construction of monitoring & control shelter for the interface (TRANSCO).
• Integration of the interface connection with TRANSCO Unit IV PS, LDC (EWEC) and ADDC SCADA.
• Construction of ADDC Hypo Chlorination plant.
Scope of Wastewater Work:
• Construction of DN 600&450 GRP gravity sewerage network of approximately 10 km length and total number of 104 manholes.
• Construction of two lifting stations of total capacity of 121 l/s (2+1) for each one.
• Construction of DN 300 GRP force main of 2 km length along with washout, air valve and discharge chambers. Responsibilities:
• Act as RE for water and sewerage works of the project.
• Projects focal point for the water work to ensure proper communication between the projects parties, Musanada, TRANSCO, ADDC, supervision consultants, design consultant contractor and subcontractors.
• Site Supervision for MEP and piping works related to water and wastewater works.
• Managing the site teams; AREs, inspectors & surveyors and keeping records for the site activities.
• Prepare all correspondence letters with Contractors and authorities related to water & wastewater work.
• Coordination with authorities to obtain approvals for the contractors submittals, NOC, PTW, water connections, water activations.
• Preparing progress presentations and technical reports as requested by authorities.
• Attending technical meetings with projects stakeholders as required or requested by Contractor/ or authorities.
• Monitoring and supervising contractors activities for tie-in connection with TRANSCO DN 1000 pipeline, pressure tests, flushing &disinfection & activating of water lines.
• Attending FAT & SAT inspections with concerned authorities.
• Review and approval of contractors submittals.
• Inspection of delivered materials and ensure complying to the approved material submittal and projects requirements.
• Monitoring testing & commission activities and reviewing the submitted handing over documents by contractor.
• Ensure safety on site.
• Inspect, observe, check, and record works execution are in accordance with approved method statements, shop drawings and specifications.
• Review of program of work, variation orders and claims submitted the contractor.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing concept & detailed design reports for sewerage pumping stations.
• Reviewing concept & detailed design reports for sewerage treatment plants.
• Selection and sizing of mechanical equipment, pipes and fittings for sewerage pumping system, such as pumps, valves, and screens.
• Coordinating with other discipline engineers to prepare the detail design and tender documents and obtain ADSSC approval for the same.
• Preparing contract drawings for sewerage pumping stations, such as general, plan and section arrangements of the pumping station and valve chambers.
• Technical evaluation of contracts proposed bidders. Work Done:
• Prepared preliminary design report, detailed design report and tender documents for Al Mirfa sewerage system, pumping station and force main under ADSSC contract No. O 12633.
• Prepared tender document for upgrading of MPS-17 Sewerage pumping station under ADSSC contract No. O-13373.1.
• Prepared preliminary design report for construction of drying beds for ICADSTP under ADSSC contract No. O-12633.
• Prepared preliminary design report for wastewater network system for the industrial area at Al-Mirfa under ADSSC contract No. O-12633.
• Technical evaluation of ADSSC contract No. O-13373.1 proposed bidders.
Contract: O-12099 Upgrade the 7/13 and 7/2 pumping stations capacity and Construction of two pumpingstations for the development area at Khalifa A and the Industrial area ICAD III, Abu Dhabi Mainland for Abu Dhabi City.
Contract Scope of work:
• Construction of two new wet well sewerage submersible pumping stations (PS 6/19 & PS 13/19) along with gravity and pressure lines.
• Upgrading the existing dry well pumping station (PS 7/2) from 540 l/s to 1080 l/s along with all necessary rehabilitation works.
• Upgrading the existing wet well pumping station (PS 7/13) from 310 l/s to 600 l/s along with all necessary rehabilitation works.
Contract: O-11656 TSE Transmission to Al Falah and Motor World
Contract Scope of work:
• Construction of dry well TSE pumping station along with pressure line for irrigation purpose.
Responsibilities:
• Selection of MEP equipments such as pumps, diesel generators, MCC panels, cranes.
