•Responsible preparing schedule from scratch as per contract requirements and checks and confirms that the correct scope of work is reflected on assigned schedules.
•Generate Manpower Histogram, S-Curves & Cash flow.
•Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan. Reviews and assess the work sequences with the total project plan.
•Prepare a schedule of quantities (which involves measuring activity durations, material and labor requirement & its costs)

•Identify critical activities / items and notify Project Management for necessary action.
•Coordinates with the Project manager, Contractors for the necessities of the project, Assisting Project Manager technically and ensured the execution of work according to the schedule and quality.
•Reviews and approves invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules, as required
•Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) & Time impact on project with respect to baseline and claims with Consultant.

•Tracking the budgeted cost assigned to Procurement department & taking corrective measures if over budgeted.

•Construction of structural and finishing works as per drawings and specification within time with quality and safety records.
•Monitoring and Inspection of subcontractor for Earthwork, substructure, super structure including pre stress (post tension) slabs.
•Review of the working drawings, technical specification, and contracts condition and liaise accordingly.
•Study and follow up of material and drawings approval
•Preparation of project schedule and plans during execution stage.
•Monitor progress at site and prepare progress reports, short schedules, recovery plans.

•Prepare and maintain database to analyze the fluctuation in actual and estimated costs
•Prepare detailed reports for all stages of the project and discuss improvements for future projects based on results derived from current projects
•Studied about the causes of difference in estimated and actual costs involved in the project

Duties and Responsibilities as Planning Engineer
•Preparing detailed Schedule for the Project activities in Primavera (P6) - for project including Commercial, Residential towers, Villas & for Saudi Electricity Power plant, Substation Projects (115kV & 380kV).
•Preparation of project schedule for tender and bidding.
•Analyze the Drawing, specifications, Condition of contracts; outline the scope of works etc.
•Prepare a schedule of quantities (which involves measuring material and labor requirement & its costs) & Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram.
•Responsible for Project planning, monitoring and reporting. Verify the progress at site & update master schedule based on actual site condition.
•Prepares periodical reports & look ahead programs.
•Prepare updating reports to update the client on the progress of the project.
•Develop short term schedules such as (3 Week Look-Ahead and 3 Months Look-Ahead) based on approved Master Construction Schedule and actual resources available.
•Identify critical activities / items of works which needs special attention while execution of the project. Monitor project progress and advise action to meet the schedule, if delayed.
