The entity is a leading FMCG company, all kind of Bakery products & Catering & Coffee Roasting facility & Grocery mini supermarket stores, Coffee Shops, and Fresh Concept outlets produces value added Fresh items, Beverage & Grocery & Ladies Garment overseas franchise shops and FECO logistic operation.
Leadership responsibility for the organisations procurement and logistics strategy. Charged with product planning and delivery of 4000 - 5000 SKUs on a strict daily and weekly schedule to the organisations 190 stores and outlets, and its 2 production units, through a warehouse operation of 4, 000 square meters and fleet of 15 trucks. Serving as part of the Procurement Leadership Team, the role encompasses management of Supply & Demand, Procurement, Outsourcing, Logistics, Freight forwarding, Vendor & Customer Management, Contract Management and implementation of a TQM programme. Wider remit includes participation in cross functional group programmes including the five-year Business Planning strategy group, and various ongoing group-wide Supply chain specific initiatives and ensuring organisational compliance to Govt. Authority SFDA /Custom rules and regulations.

Appointed to design and establish the organisations Procurement function from scratch in order to facilitate the planning and supply chain delivery of 2, 000 SKUs from a £30M SAR budget annually across a range of FMCG products including Bakery products, packaging, raw materials and equipment. Leadership responsibility grew throughout the period, resulting in management of a team of 14 staff with 3 Purchase Officers as direct reports. The role’s wide ranging remit included materials management, freight forwarding, vendor selection and management, RFQ and tender process management, adopting a strategic sourcing methodology, managing supplier risk, improving sustainability, and implementing a continuous process improvement initiative. Role also includes maintaining Govt. Authority SFDA /Custom rules and regulations.
Company is an experienced and leading supplier of further processed value added Chicken products in the Middle East, approved for supply to Burger King Franchise for Middle East Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Lebanon etc. Company is approved by YUM international, and supply to Pizza hut restaurants in Middle East. And Meat trading business. Company also has a list of important clientele in food service operations
Responsible for the management of the Purchasing strategy for raw materials, working in close collaboration with the warehouse and production departments as well as the local and international market teams to understand sales forecasts and thus match supply to demand, sourcing only from the pre-approved supplier list. Managed the Procurement & Warehousing department to coordinate almost 1, 000 SKUs, including Frozen Products (Chicken, Beef and Butter), Packaging, Ingredients, Raw Materials, Colors, Flavors, Chemicals and 2 Warehouses with 3000 square meters. Acted as lead on the implementation and training rollout of a leading edge SAP MM Purchase / Warehouse / SD module and oversaw the programme to align the purchase & logistic controls and processes to the franchise standards; including the retention of all raw material technical data, implementing a traceability system, and launching a quick product recall system and process to ensure achievement of a consistent annual ‘A’ grade rating from the BRC and YUM audit system which complied with the global requirements for leading multinational brands in GCC as well as maintaining compliance against Govt. Authority SFDA /Custom rules and regulations.
