Projects under my responsibility in Quality Management with Rabya:
Site Development (Enabling Works) & Infrastructures works of 300 Hectares new
Area including the following:
a. Sewer Networks & Manholes.
b. Storm Drainage Lines & Manholes.
c. Irrigation Network.
d. Potable Water Lines.
e. Concrete Structures (Irrigation Tank, Precast Manholes).
f. Electrical Cables (underground) Medium & Low Voltage.
g. Installation of 259 units Transformer for MV & LV.
h. Grid Sub-station.
i. Construction of Roads & Sidewalks (Urban, & Main Roads).
j. Asphalting Works.
Work Details:
• Responsibility of ensuring the Quality Management System of the project is fully
implemented in efficient and organize manner.
• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to CODES, STANDARDS,
regulations, Technical Specifications and QMS requirements.
• Prepare Monthly and Weekly Quality Reports.
• Identified and developed solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.
• Conducts Inspection by Surveillance to ensure that all activities are carried out as per the
requirements of the construction specification, drawings and quality plan.
• Controlling corrective actions & resolving quality non-conformances (NCR).
• Ensure that all test and samples are approved according to technical submittal.
• ITP preparation and implementation coordinated with Method of Statement.
• During concrete casting testing procedure properly implemented such as temperature,
slump and cylinder samples, checking of design mix.
• Monitoring and witnessing Compaction Test(FDT).
• Perform all kinds of soil samples used in road construction test such as (Sieve Analysis,
La Abrasion, Soundness, Liquid Limit, Plasticity Index, CBR, Soil Classification,
Proctor, Chemical, Organic and Relative Swelling).
• Check all Calibration Certificates Validity of Machine / Equipment being used in testing
including Survey Instruments and apparatus for Plate Load Test, Concrete Equipment
and ITL (Independent testing Laboratory).
• Jointly witnessed and monitored all test with the consultant engineer /representatives.
• Supervision according to project approved design specification and standard
IFC Drawings.
• Prepares RFI and submit to Consultant for eventual inspections.
• Prepares weekly / monthly QA/QC reports.
• Inspection of compaction tests(FDT) by nuclear method & sand cone.

Assures that quality control plan will be explained and demonstrated as needed to fulfill
the requirements of the project quality Coordination with Saudi Aramco Inspection
Department.
• Conducts Inspection to ensure that the select fill material is tested and approved by the
third party inspection Laboratory.
• Rfi’s should be maintained as per serial numbers and arrange it in a sequence manner so
that it is easier when the audit is going on.
• Co-ordinate with third party Inspection Company for field density testing and Witness
field density test and concrete testing before pouring & as per the standards.
• Inspection to ensure that foundations, excavation, backfilling, compaction testing,
grouting, pipe laying, fencing works, pre-casting, plumbing works, masonry works, rebar,
formwork, concreting, curing and coating are prepared as per the requirements of the
construction drawing, applicable specifications and standards.
• Ensure that proper concrete cover is maintained in all sides of the foundation.
• Inspections of form work and rebar assembly prior to concrete pouring.
• Ensure that the ready mix concrete is procured from approved company from the client.
• Ensure that the correct strength of concrete is being used and inspection of Batch Plant.
• Conducts Inspection to ensure that the temperature and slump test for concrete are as per
the requirements of the specification.
• Monitoring and Inspection to ensure that all activities are inspected and documented as
per the requirements of the inspection and Testing plan.
• Work should be done on site as per the IFC (issued for construction) drawings.
• Initiating and closing of RFI’s for witness and hold points as per the requirements of the
inspection and test plan.
• Monitor concrete pouring works including air content test, slump test and temperature of
concrete.
• Finalize inspection request and prepare documents associated with field inspection
reports and final approval of the client.
• Quality checking of completed works and approved material used for construction.
• Quality control of execution. Review plans and specifications of assigned project with
construction supervisor; attend pre-construction conferences.
• Witnessed concrete pouring activities at site
• Prepare, updated of Quality Records & logs for NCR, ITP, Concrete Delivery etc.
• To Raising RFIs to Client for inspections of the ongoing activities prior to next step.
• Monitor and Initiate Close out of NCRs raised by Consultant.
• Ensures that project construction activities are conducted in accordance with project
quality system.
• Maintaining the material test result record used in Company’s own concrete Batching
plant and maintaining the batching Plant’s equipments.
• Co-ordination with QA/QC management team for preparing Inspection and Test Plant
(ITP) as well as Quality control procedures (QCP) and generation of check lists for above
concerned activities.
