Leading a group of engineers and designers for reviewing as well as developing base and detailed
engineering design drawings & documents for various communication and security systems such as
IDAS, LRDAS, VASS, ACS, ANPR, OSP & ISP cabling system, PAGA, Enterprise Data network, VOIP and
Analog telephone network in accordance with client and international codes and standards.
* Scrutinize project technical specifications/design basis scoping paper besides communicating with
client’s PMT to determine the complete project requirements and also interface with proposal manager
to identify required resources & software’s, risk involvement, list of deliverables and man-hour
requirements to complete the project.
* Proactively scope technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customers’
met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the
firm.
* Coordinating with multiple vendors to verify the integration and interoperation of different systems
and elements prior to the design.
* Collaborating with Project manager and planning engineer to prepare baseline and detailed project
schedule.
* Participating in activities such as site visits, FEED package verification, vendor package evaluation,
discipline and inter-disciplines coordination & review, progress review meetings as well as interface
meetings.
* Closely monitoring project progress and consumed man-hours in order to complete the assigned
project within budgeted hours.
Conducting site surveys and identifying best tie-in locations.
* Developing Conceptual, FEED and detailed design engineering drawings & documents for outside plant
cabling system, Structured cabling system, Data, IP and Analog telephone network, Industrial paging
system, Video Surveillance system in accordance with Saudi Aramco and other international codes and
standards.
* Providing assistance to lead discipline engineer to evaluate required list of deliverables and man-hours
estimation by reviewing scoping documents DBSP.
* Identifying scope deviations and highlighting the same to lead discipline engineer.
* Participating in progress review meeting, discipline and inter-discipline coordination and FEED
package verification.
Conducting site surveys and identified best location for the installation of FDT in consultation and
coordination with property owner.
* Developing design packages of GPON-FTTH civil and fiber distribution network on Telcordia Network
Engineer (NE), Prepared BOQ and attended weekly & monthly progress meeting.
* Providing training and technical support for NE design application to design engineers to develop new
FTTH design and update as-built packages.
Designing, coordinating and managing the team for the installation of structured cabling system, IP &
analog CCTV system, access control system, IP and Analog telephone network.
* Conducting site surveys to verify the existing conditions and provide design and installation solution
accordingly.
* Analyzing and resolving interference issues with other disciplines such as electrical, firefighting, HVAC
etc.
* Identifying scope deviations and reporting it to the project manager.
* Participating in progress review meeting on weekly and monthly basis.
