Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing the HSE policies and procedures and ensure effective implementation ofthe integrated
managementsystem.
* Determining the strategic directionand work priorities (In conjunction with line management) for the continuous

* Developing and implementing incidentprevention strategies.
* ConductHSE training for all employees to increase safetyawareness.
* Ensure the risks associated with the activities are assessedad managed through suitable risk control measures in
coordination with operations.
* Liaise with group companies’ representatives and local authorities in implementation ofHSE procedures and policies.
* Investigating and recording the near misses, incidents, and cases ofillness, determine rootcauses and developed
corrective actions.
* Develop a culture to anticipate and preventhealth hazardous conditions.
* Drive behaviors preventing illnesses in work place by engaging managementcommitment.
* DeployAutomation and Controls Solutions Health, Safetyand Environmental ManagementSystems program.
* Execute environmental management processes such as chemicals, waste managementand pollution prevention.
* Handle industrial hygiene, equipmentprotection, machine guarding and other health and safetyprograms.
* Achieve health and safetymanagementexcellence.
* Follow up the maintenance programs for all safetysystems and equipment’s.

Developing and implementing the QHSE policies and procedures and ensure effective implementation ofthe integrated

Implementall HSE requirements, including HSE procedures, legal requirements as well as certification requirements for
Melt shop and other plants in the cluster ofresponsibility.
Ensure thatthe documentation on Occupational Health, Safety and environment(registers ofequipment,
Environmental emissions, noise measurements, accidents) is in accordance with local Law.
Develop the training matrixfor the whole organization with all necessarySafety, Occupational Health and Environment
training needs, monitor, and evaluate its successful completion
Identify the basic causes ofaccidents and define, in collaboration with other departments, concrete measures to
ensure events will not repeated.
Monitor all Safety, Occupational Health and EnvironmentKPIs and targets as well as establish continuous
improvementplans
Manage the EmergencyManagementSystem and ensure the efficiencyand effectiveness ofthe fire prevention system of
the plants
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels ofthe organization.

Manage the business processes in respectwith planning, implementation, and maintenance and improvementprinciples.
Design and build the Integrated ManagementSystem.
Implement, follow-up and record the environmental, health & safety and quality measures and related performances.
