Description :
Castor ERP is a distributed ERP application with centralized business objects and distributed user
interface and middle wear, developed using C# .NET. Castor enables complete automation of procedures and
transactions carried out in the company. It manages billing and receipts, inventory, payroll and financial
accounting transactions. It generates various reports. The security aspects of the software help to assign access
levels to the different user. It has the following modules.

* Inventory Management
* Production Planning
* Payroll Accounting
* Order and Planning

* Estimate and plan the work
* control the progress
* Report the progress to the Director
Design/Development/ Verification/ and Implementation:
* The task involved adding new features to existing ERP framework like new forms, Popups,
reports with parameter forms.
* Worked on Purchase and Sales Modules in ERP client.
* Developed Monthly Sales Cross View report showing monthly sales of all products, including
* Profit & Loss Report for all products including product groups hierarchically
* Designed and developed popup control for accessing hierarchical data in a Tree View using
.NET 3.5 framework, which provides search feature, runtime customization of data which serves
as reusable component in the overall project
* Also worked on ERP Application Server to support the changes and fixes.
* This product is designed to suit the requirements of different clients, not only the specified client.
* Designing reports for different modules.
Optimization:
The other task is to optimize existing code. The work involved in understanding the existing code.
Upgrading Existing ERP framework code to the latest framework and enhancing and minimizing server
round trips and unnecessary traffic between client and server.
