• Successfully completed design of 40MW Confidential Data Centre Project in the Middle East.
• Current working on 60MW and 88MW Data Centre Projects in Europe and the Middle East.
• Responsible for delivery of high-quality detailed engineering design for data centre Projects inclusive of calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required.
• Core area of practices include designing of MV and LV distribution system, selection of Electrical LLE (Long Lead equipment) sizing, Lightning Protection and Earthing System, Substation and equipment room layouts, Containment distribution system, Fire Detection and alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting system etc. in complete coordination with inter- disciplines, Architect and Client team.
• Prepare project specification, preliminary and technical evaluation reports and other contract documents as required at various stages of projects.
• Responsible for obtaining local authority approval on electrical system design and attending meeting and coordinating with authorities for technical clarifications.
• Resource planning and workload forecasting & management to ensure project team has adequate resource to timely delivery.
• Established and maintained strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including consultants, project managers, contractors, vendors and materials suppliers.
• Preparing Technical recommendation and assisting our client to select right LLE Equipment for the job.
• Successfully achieved all performance targets, metrics and KPIs whilst leading key projects including resources, costs and forecasts.
• Spearheaded the delivery of high-quality detailed engineering designs for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required.
• Develop & finalize Schematics & layouts for Fire Detection and alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation Systems, Emergency Lighting system, LV distribution system, Small Power and lighting layout, Containment distribution system, Substation and equipment room layouts, Lightning Protection and Earthing System in complete coordination with inter disciplines, Architect and Client team.
• Review aforementioned Electrical and Fire Protection systems shop drawings/material submittals and provide comments in line with Project Specifications, applicable local and international standards.
• Prepare project specification, preliminary reports and other contract documents as required at various stages of projects.
• Established and maintained strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including consultants, project managers, contractors, vendors and materials suppliers.
• Carrying out Peer Review and Value Engineering exercises on MEP Consultants’ designs, drawings and specifications as Client Engineer Liaison with discipline teams and Statutory Authorities during Design & execution.
Reported to the Technical Director, responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise in the key areas of Electrical engineering for a portfolio of collaborations/projects throughout the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements
•Monitored the progress of MEP projects and ensured all safety and quality standards were strictly adhered to or provided corrective and remedial action to rectify lapses in either.
•Proactively clarified and cascaded all project scopes of work to the multiple stakeholders.
•Involve on site coordination meetings with Contractor & Client for resolution of coordination issues and to provide responses of RFI raised by either at various stage of the Project.
•Achieved all project milestones, KPIs and performance targets on demanding, accelerated and high-profile projects.
•Leading person for attending discussions with authorities like SEWA, DEWA, Etisalat, Civil defence etc. prior to approval.
•Liaising with Architects’/Client and statutory Authority for Projects coordination, meetings, discussion and to obtain authority approvals.
•Reviewing material submittal, shop drawings, methods statement to ensure it meets project requirements.
•Well versed knowledge of Kahramma, BSEN, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, CIBSE and acceptable industry practices including NFPA.

• Coordinated, managed and liaised with clients, local authorities, engineers, and sub-contractors to deliver projects on time in line with agreed specifications.
• Successfully developed, reviewed, updated, modified and approved electrical plans and work schedules to ensure all projects met and/or exceeded world class safety standards.
• Responding all technical enquiries raised by the Client or the Contractor.
• Responsible person for attending discussions with local authorities like ADDC, SEWA, DEWA, Etisalat, Civil Defence etc. prior to approval.
• To co-ordinate on a day-to-day basis for which the design of projects I have been appointed with other members (Architects, Structural, & Electrical Engineers) of the design.
• Review & approval of material submittals, method statements, O&M manuals etc. being submitted by the Contractor.
• Carry out arithmetical check and independent design check on Electrical design.
• Liaison with Client, Architect, Consultant and the main Contractor.
• Preliminary study for the new projects and detailing the changes and requirements to the architect if required.
• Preparation of shop drawings and material submittal for Engineer's review.
• Supervising the projects and managing manpower to complete the given task on time.
• Coordination with other services such as Structural, Architectural and other applicable MEP services.
• Maintaining the quality standard at site.
• Obtaining the approval by the authorities.
• Erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical LV/ELV Systems.
• Monitoring installation of the cable network with cable trays, ladders and GI trunking and laying of 11KV/ LV cables with end termination and proper grounding.
• Monitoring installation of cable tray, cable ladder, GI trunking and bus riser system.
• Monitoring installation of complete internal and external electrification of lighting and power points.
• Monitoring installation of earthing and lightning protection systems, conventional/addressable type fire alarm systems, central battery emergency lighting system, telephone/data system, Security systems.
• Ensure interfacing of all electrical/mechanical system as per Project Specification and requirements.
