- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations at the program level.
- Ensure security of data, network access and files backup.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Advise clients objectively on where IT might make a difference to the business.
- Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
- Ensure information management processes are in compliance with the company policies and standards.
- Determine risks to a company's information assets, and help identify methods to minimize those risks.
- Oversee and monitor on-going program information security, inappropriate usage and other security violations.
- Manage the annual IT audit for the local program and participate with the universal audit team.
- Create the IT department manual that provides a guidance to all IT processes, compliance procedures and estimated cost of the equipment).
- Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.
- Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely manner.
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Point of contact between system team leader and Royal Saudi Air Force.
- Analysis of in service data and system equipment and reporting to RSAF.
- Provide reports about system failure, aircraft data transfer modules failure and maintenance recommendations.
- Support the system maintenance and aircrew training.
