• Ensuring that galvanized products meet high-quality standards.
• Control of parameters of Water flux, HCL, degreasing, rinsing water in galvanizing.
• Visual inspection of galvanizing quality such as black/bare spot, flux inclusion, dross inclusion, pimples etc.
• Zinc consumption control, ash control, dross formation control in galvanizing.
• Coordinate with the customers and resolve the problems through Emails, phones or verbal conversation.
• Maintain the quality aspects as per ISO standards 1461:2009 and ASTM 123.
• To maintain the process inspection reports, rejection data and GSM Reports.
• To improve the quality of galvanized material through post treatment process or filing and Paint touchup.
• To check the process Parameters and maintain.
• To ensure the material quality as per ISO aspects and as per customer requirements.
• To coordinate the production team and aware for the fault in process or process parameter.
• To give the training to subordinates of working as per ISO standard.
• To provide a final inspection of dispatched material and give tagging the ok and not ok.
WIRE GALVANIZING (LOW, MEDIUM AND HIGH CARBON STEEL WIRES, ANNEALED WIRE, MS BRIGHT &BEDING)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Well known knowledge about galvanizing line production & problems. Like annealing furnace handling, HCL addition, Flux addition, Zinc addition, wiping pads & Nitrogen nozzles.
• Well known knowledge about wire drawing machines production & problems. Like die draft, Powder consumption, die consumption, speed details etc.
• Well known knowledge about wire drawing production and Galvanizing wire production. Like product and problem wise.
• Monitor Daily parameters, such as Zinc addition, Lubricant powder, Wire rod usages, scale details and checked Wire drawing and galvanizing line check lists.
• Plan and coordinate production engineering processes on daily basis to produce high quality products.
• Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
• Testing the all parameters of acid, rinsing water and water flux like as concentration, PH, iron content.
• Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
• Perform Engineering analysis to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
STRUCTURAL GALVANIZING (PEB, MONOPOLES, PIPES, STREET POLES, TRANSMISSION TOWERS, CABLE TRAY, LADDER, WELDED STRUCTURE ETC)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the facilities in order to meet an agreed delivery time to clients.
• Achieving monthly and yearly galvanization production target within budgeted time and cost parameters.
• Minimizing the cost of productivity and maximize the production.
• Challenging the present situation and managing the day-to-day operation of the company smoothly.
• Attending project meeting to understand the project priorities of galvanization & shipping.
• To Supervision of galvanizing plant day to day basis covering galvanizing of structures.
• Computation the expenditure of the plant such as zinc, gas, chemicals and other overhead cost per unit.
• To working according to the Indian standard 2629-1985, 2633-1986, 4759-1996 and 6745-1972.
• To testing the whole parameter of chemicals using in process with respect of Indian standard 2629-1985 like as specific gravity, concentration, iron content and PH value.
• To control the consumption of Zinc, HCL and Gas.
• To prepare the galvanizing reports on the basis of consumption ratios individually.
• Prepare the daily production report and process inspection report and report the same manager daily.
• To maintain the chemical stock day by day like as sodium hydroxide, acid, inhibitor, water flux, zinc chloride, ammonium chloride, liquid ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and dichromate.
• To oversee quality control and safety matters in the plant and ensure that regulations are adhered.
• To improve the quality of galvanized material through post treatment process or filing and paint touchup.
• To prepare the process inspection report, rejection data and GSM report of galvanized material.
• To prepare the Copper Sulphate solution with required specific gravity for test of uniformity.
• To prepare the sample for inspection including mass of zinc, Adhesion test, test of uniformity
