• Develop and maintain strong customer relationship for Europe territory (Netherlands) ensuring customer loyalty and repeat purchase. Build on customer network and develop new customers
• Ensure that the area revenue and the sales target of the business is achieved as planned

• Maintaining a close coordination with:
o Internal customers to advise shipment tracking numbers and status of shipments in an effective manner
o Different departments within the company to facilitate shipments
o Appointing 3PL / customs brokers / factories to ensure the necessary documentation is available and complete
o Forwarders for ETD and ETA of the shipments
o Forwarders for HAWB/BL for shipments and timely release of delivery order
o Transporters for timely delivery of shipments to customers
o Different agents for requesting quotations for air/sea & road freight shipments
o Agents for daily updates of shipment status
• Following the:
o Purchase invoices and coordinating with warehouse for offloaded shipments for any discrepancies
o Shipping lead-times for the export / import and local deliveries part with respect to agreed standards and priorities and timelines
• Entrusted with the responsibility of:
o Clearing and forwarding the goods at the port to customers; negotiating with the clearing agents and in-land transportation companies for obtaining the best rates prevailing in the market
o Managing shipments, both outbound and inbound, ensuring that internal customer' needs are met and that company policy and international trade compliance regulations relating to shipping, transportation and customs are adhered to
o Handling import/export enquiries for air/sea & road freight shipments and providing the quote to customers
• Facilitating clarifications regarding, HS Codes, item descriptions, declared prices and material compositions
• Claiming for damaged/pilfered shipments with Freight Forwarders/3PL and following up with Insurance Broker/3PL; arranging surveys when needed
• Adhering to the agreed rates by local providers and performing/updating/monitoring the entries in the Group shipments
• Monitoring the cycle of clearance and ensuring movement of shipment within lead time to prevent it from demurrages, detentions and shutout positions
• Tracking vessel / flight schedules on various websites & updating client about the shipment status
• Addressing import/export enquiries for air/sea & road freight shipments and providing the quote to customers
• Managing the documents for clearance process which has been collected before arrival of air/sea shipments
• Conducting follow-up for original documents from customers for clearing the shipments
• Carrying out detailed follow-up with:
o Customers for original documents required to claim the standing guarantee deposit with customs
o Shipment status with customs, port terminals, shipping lines&freight forwarders
• Arranged to Collect Delivery Order from shipping lines & nominated airlines
