Role and Responsibilities
• Supervision and Coordination for the execution of 11KV KAHRAMAA Schemes.
• Installation of 11KV (Indoor and outdoor) substations and per Kahramaa rules and regula-tions (Installation Switchgear panels, 11KV RMU, Transformers up-to 2500KVA, 3.3KV Panels and battery chargers).
• Supervision of UG XLPE 11kV cable Laying Jointing and termination.
• Testing & Commissioning of UG XLPE 11kV cable (IR testing, Hi-Pot, Live-phasing test).
• Control wiring Scheme Designing and Execution.
• Supervision of Testing and commissioning of Switch gears and TX.
• Coordinating for the stage wise inspections with Client Inspector and getting approval for completed work.
• Co-ordination with the Shutdown engineer during Sub-Station Energization.
• Clearing punch list given by Consultant/Inspector on time and raising request for re- inspection.
• Daily planning and scheduling the work and Man power management.
• Monitoring of Sub-contractors work and confirms the work is completed as per the re-requirements and specifications.
• Attending Client weekly meeting for the updating the status of work.
• Submitting Daily updated Report to the client.
• Coordinating with the shut down activities.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out as per the site safety rules and regulations.

(1) 220kV AREACODE SUBSTATION-11KV PANEL REPLACEMENT-10 No’s
*Whole project scheduling and coordinating.
*All individual tests of Current transformer, Voltage transformer, Circuit breaker, Bus-bar.
*Testing of 11 kV Cables.
*Done the whole control wiring.
*Verification of CT & PT circuits through primary and secondary injection.
*Stability of bus bar protection by verification of stable and unstable conditions.
*Interlocking of circuit breaker, disconnecting/earthling switch
(2) 110kV MALAPPURAM SUBSTATION- 48V, 200AH LEAD ACID CELL INSTALATION
*Inspection and Installation of Batteries in appropriate manner.
*Setting the charging current of charger & Duration of it.
*Time to time inspection of each aspects.
*Discharging the battery.
*Final Inspection & Commissioning.
*Report preparation along with its efficiency calculations
Designing Physical layout, Schematic diagram and Earthling designing according to the projects.
Supervising the whole project including the site.
Work management according to the schedule.
Testing of the insulation resistance, earth resistance, continuity, polarity.
