• Review Tender Documents (drawings, specifications, Soil Report..Etc) and coordinates with the works of other disciplines.
• Study the Requests for Information (RFI) submitted by the Contractor and do the required coordination with the design office for the proper technical reply.
• Review the Construction Logistic and mobilization Plan, Site inspections and test Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
• Review the Transmittals, technical shop drawings and construction materials and/or equipment submittals.
• Review Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, Certification & other submittals for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Coordinate & Supervise the work of contractors.
• Attend inspections in the construction site with the contractor’s representative.
• Provide technical advice and guidance on all discipline aspects.
• Provide technical assistance for inspectors & contractor and Performs periodical field inspections and provides professional field support during construction phases.
• Lead effort of work coordination on site, and supervising the construction of mock-ups for review by the appropriate end users.
• Attend meetings between the contractor and concerned departments/end users to resolve interfacing problems during construction.
• Initiate and prepare draft technical civil related letters or reports to contractors and other departments.
• Provide general direction to Contractor, at the construction site of the project, through technical reference.
• Oversee the work of junior staff and site inspectors.
• Review the status of the project site consistently during the excavation and construction of the all aboveground & underground structures, utilities and maintain a stability of the existing structures.
• Ensure quality assurance system implemented & maintained.
• Attend the testing & commission, handing over till project closeout.
• Participate in reviewing the projects technical tender documents before tendering process.
• Ensure that the construction activities are complying with the project specification, tender drawings and the standard codes
• Ensure the Setting out, leveling and surveying’s activities at the site
• Supervise the construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of
construction and coordination with site management activities
• Prepare and monitor resource requirements based on the budgetary parameters, make changes in the same as per revised schedules and budgets
• Generate Progress Reports, monitor the project status, cost and time reconciliation.
• Ensure following the Planned construction activities daily, weekly and monthly
• Prepare ITP’S to ensure adherence to quality and \ safety norms across the entire course of project execution
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the project in terms of quality, time, cost, including Quantity Surveying and billing of the project
• Review and monitor all transmittals for Technical Data Sheets, Prequalification, Sample Tag, Shop Drawings, Material Delivery Sheets, Request for Information, pursuant to the project drawings and specifications
• Responsible for the creation and management of proposals and the technical advices in the construction site
• Inspection of all construction activities
• Prior planning and identification of critical materials essential for the project
construction
• Responsible for quality control of engineering and construction documents
• The constant monitoring of the project work and also the ongoing cost control

• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
• Setting out, leveling and surveying the site
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
• Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site
• Preparing reports as required
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
