Joined the organization as Documentation, moved on upward career trajectories, to merit promotion to the position of Terminal Loading/ Discharging Vessels and finally as promoted as Shift Accounting Supervisor.
Accomplishments:
• Entrusted with the challenging task of structuring the vessel accounting formalities, and succeeded to reduce the use of paper by migrating server on SAP cover 3 major functions encompassing Shipping E-Filing System; E-File Cockpit and Nomination Report, resulting in savings in terms of time, resources and cost.
• Instrumental in refurbishing the existing shipping operation functions and ensured smooth operational flow of work.
Key Responsibilities as Shift Accounting Supervisor:
• Keeping track of Sailing Schedules and ETA schedule for all loading and discharge vessels to plan activities accordingly.
• Setting objectives and controlling the operations of the business; preparing all requisite finished ships list and keeping logs of quantities per day.
• Taking ownership of consolidating and maintaining data in SAP and records/ summary report of government tickets at each end of month.
• Creating, improving and developing all shipping operation functions; maintain pro-active coordination within all the departments of the organization to ensure smooth flow of business to help reach the organization objectives
• Managing and coordinating the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department
• Providing continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervised overall vessel operations and provided administrative support in computing the quantity (stop gauge/meter) to load the vessel with the tolerance.
• Coordinated with the terminal and provided detailed information on kind of crude and the quantity to be loaded to transfer materials as necessary.
• Ensuring that all data relating to tanks and meters reading received is instantly and promptly entered in the SAP hydrocarbon.
• Ensured operations/work processes occur in accordance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and any other standards and requirements to which compliance is required
• Reconciled the projections with actual load list and reviewed all tanks and meter with the result of the certificate of analysis received from the laboratory.
• Controlled port and shipping costs to comply with prepared budget matched the ship and shore figures before releasing the vessel.
• Presented detailed summary and Vessels' Dossier for the agents and inspectors to check and review all operation tasks done on the vessel and liaised with shipping lines/agents/vessel whenever required for smooth operations
Key Responsibilities:
• Kept accurate records for all daily transactions, recorded all requests received from agents for fuel/diesel filling for tug boats and entered all details in SAP system as well as issued order to be supplied to each agent accordingly.
• Maintained all logs of crude and products pump for the entire pipeline from bulk plant in SAP as Non-terminal operation.
• Monitored the reading of crude pump as it relates to each joint venture enterprises like Petro Rabigh, Sabic and Saudi Kayan Company.
• Administered accounting operations and prepared consolidated summary report of each month operations
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for timely Data Entry and Maintenance of SAP data pertaining and mentioned all customer's conditions in compliance with Saudi Aramco standard conditions.
• Responsible for the up-to-date maintenance of customer data in SAP through regular interactions with the Sales and marketing Managers.
• Supported and coordinated the sales department with activities such as instructions from the customer.
• Handled additional responsibilities pertinent to billing unit and sales and marketing departments for 6 months.
