To Provide maintenance services and activities to the waste treatment facilities and waste transport infrastructure. To develop and implement waste management concept, policies and processes for waste management, support infrastructure and removal / recycle / treatment activities from collection to recycling plants, incinerating plants, landfill and other designated areas.

•Lead the effort to create a sustainability vision for the company encompassing people, profit and planet.
•Develop the business case to address sustainability issues
•Define and manage to get the resources needed to put sustainability programs in place
•Secure and leverage senior level commitment and support for integrating sustainable development into core processes and decision-making.
•Lead the formulation of the Qatar Foundation’s long-term sustainability vision, mission and operating principles, and lead the development of a high-level strategy to support them.
•Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance and identify and prioritize the organization’s key sustainability issues.
•Offer expertise and provide leadership-level support for initiatives to reduce resource consumption and waste generation
• Develop sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies in collaboration with the sustainability professionals.
•Formulate action plans with defined objectives, targets and responsibilities to support agreed upon sustainability strategies.
•Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems are in place to support sustainability efforts.
•Measure and monitor progress against sustainability strategies, objectives and performance targets

Job Profile
•Provide advice on Qatari environmental / waste & hazardous substances regulations and permission process.
•Monitor compliance with standards & regulations and ensure that non-compliances are escalated to senior management.
•Facilitate EIA reporting and incidents reporting (as mandatory under the regulations).
•Validate data and prepare communications on Environmental Performance for internal and external stakeholders.
•Facilitate Asset Area implementation plans to ensure environmental compliance.
•Promote awareness training for relevant staff in QSGTL on principal legal obligations.
•Manage project budgets and day-to-day environmental operational aspects of projects and utilities.
•Liaise and coordinate with other authorities and stakeholders.
•Review and approve environmental elevations.
•Direct and plan essential central services such as cleaning, catering, and waste disposal & recycling.
•Coordinate with environmental staff and ensure that all directives/issues are communicated and understood by them.
•Receive, review and reply all legal & financial correspondences.
•Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

Job Profile
•Liaise and provide technical advised to Operation Directorate, Technical Directorate, Refinery Directorate and Oil & Gas Venture on all matters relating to waste management best practice and compliance.
•Assess operations and review KPI’s performance of functional environmental management systems and suggest improvements to attain high quality and integrity.
•Assess & audit QP operational areas’ (Messaied, Halul, Dukhan and Ras Laffan) waste management and other environmental aspects (wastewater, emission, etc...) in compliance with state law and international regulations and standards like USEPA.
•Develop strategies and plans for waste management and recommend the most appropriate waste minimization techniques and technologies in collaboration with QP operations.
•Provide guidance on industry best practice in managing hazardous/non hazardous wastes, wastewater and on methods to reducer source use to avoid the attendant treatment and disposal cost and expenditures.

Job Profile
•Work closely with local, national and international organizations and government agencies in developing and executing strategies and programs in managing GHG and air quality issues.
•Support the process of QP’s effort to develop forward-looking strategies for addressing critical environmental issues relating to climate change and air quality management.
•Led various social responsibility projects on behalf of the QP Corporate Department.
•Environmental and source noise measurement and analysis, Noise inventory compilation and Noise propagation modeling.
•Update department with current international greenhouse gas emissions & climate change issues and evaluate changes to incorporate in QP policies.
•Promote indoor and outdoor air quality and air pollution awareness program.
•Developed training materials to enhance the knowledge and expertise of Qatari Nationals.
•Manage and maintain the department's ambient air quality network and develop air quality assurance program for QP.
•Responsible for conducting inspections and investigations of air quality issues and complains, and conduct field sampling, testing and surveying the reported sources of emission.
•Ensure quality performance of the contractor for the operation and maintenance of the air quality monitoring equipment including calibration, installation & maintenance of equipment.
•Perform validation and analysis of the data by using statistical tools.
•Review Emission Inventory data from various end users operating in QP areas and evaluate pollution control technology.
•Perform steady-state mass balance analysis to assess state compliance.
•Involve in the evaluation of air pollution control strategies with fellow environmental specialist and engineers in the corporate department.
