• Supervises employees who lead or facilitate quality improvement activities, provide project management, data analysis and measurement of outcomes, document and report the results and accomplishments of quality improvement initiatives.
• Documents any corrective actions required when violations of approved practices and procedures are noted and performs follow-up observations when necessary.
• Event planning, management and execution of logistics for all training conferences.
• Securing and managing training locations, including event space and lodging. This includes including negotiating with and managing vendors.
• Answering and responding to outside communications, such as phone calls, faxes, emails, and web-based inquiries. This includes on-going communications, project-based communications, i.e., from training participants, presenters and clients.
• Monitor material performance and evaluate material deterioration.
• Analyze product failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions.
• Supervise the work of technicians, and other engineers and scientists.
• Conduct or supervise tests on raw materials or finished products to ensure their quality.
• Supervise production and testing processes in industrial settings
• Perform managerial functions, such as preparing proposals and budgets, analyzing labor costs, and writing reports.
