- Provide management and leadership to 3 different units (MIS /Customer Retention/New business/ Servicing teams)
- Oversee in house administration system on a day to day basis (System maintenance, data monitoring)
- Maintain processes and procedures in line with system functionalities and capabilities
- Define, test, and implement system initiatives against the user-defined business requirements.
- Participate in departmental strategic planning processes, provide recommendations on policies and goals desired; implement new/revised procedures according to established guidelines.
- Provide MIS to all areas of the business.
- Increase the persistency ratio of the company.
- Establish, plan and implement retention campaigns and initiatives.
- Identify revenue-enhancing opportunities within the client bank.
- Evaluate product provider offerings to determine which to promote.

In charge of Business Development for Nexus, I focused on new business channels, technology initiatives and business process management.

As a new IFA, Nexus was setting up an IT system covering all areas of the business (from sales, administration processes to senior management support).

In collaboration with the IT department, I was responsible for providing the system developers with details of Nexus business processes and requirements (Sales Process, Commission, New Business, Servicing, Compliance, Finance, Management information…), ensuring their technical applications (Communication with all departments, Business processes and requirements analysis…).

- Ability to improve the current Business Processes while implementing them across the organisation.
- Design and implement follow up actions plans on long term basis after initial implementation of strategies
- Prepare MIS / monitor deliverables of all department relating to strategy.
- Establish procedures for actively managing and monitoring risk.

Responsible for providing first class service to the Nexus distribution network and safeguarding the best interests of Nexus through the Compliance function. Efficient organisation of the top interface between the distribution and providers.

- Coordinate new business/servicing business/compliance team and work to meet service standards; Measure and analyse service standard from providers and Nexus
- Understand providers' processes and set up Nexus’ own processes for new business and servicing business.
- Maintain close relationship with providers
- Maintain communication/information to distribution as well as the servicing team on new processes, products, and features.
- Monitor and adapt structure of the operation team to the business needs.
