- Supporting Business Development in all aspects of the operational management of individual departments across the organization
- Ensuring timely delivery of key performance targets including financial and quality standards; focusing on continuous compliance with international accreditations; ISO and JCI Standards

Strategic & Business Planning
- Articulating corporate strategies and supporting departments to align with business unit and corporate objectives.

- Managing the procurement process for all stock and capital items in close collaboration with business units, finance, and Supply Chain Management departments
- Managing the approved operational / capital budget in accordance with corporate policies and procedures ensuring financial targets are met.
- Maximizing the use of resources to control expenditure.
Workforce Management
- Development of integrated workforce plans in line with the departments business plans
- Working closely with HR Department to ensure progression of staff recruitments
Communications
- Ensuring effective arrangements are in place to communicate both operational and business/strategic issues to all departments.
- Engaging staff in the planning, implementation and evaluation of service improvement projects and initiatives
- Fostering among staff an understanding and appreciation of the organization and department targets and business objectives.
- Maintaining project status registers, arranging and coordinating all project meetings and project documents
- Project Management - Point of contact for internal and external project team members and all stakeholders provide all project administrative and technical support including post project review and documentation
- Project administration - Document all project meetings, project plans, project status reports, project risk registers.
- Project budget analysis, monitor and reconcile project expenses
- Change and incident management - Ensure seamless changes and user acceptance with nominal disruption to business
- IT Service Desk Management - Formulate service desk process improvements and initiatives to eliminate redundant activities and empower staff to perform more activities independently
- Service Desk Troubleshooting and resolution
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to provide management clear understanding of departmental performance on a scheduled basis.
- Steer the departmental activities, organize, and document meetings, plan, and monitor department budget and expenses, ensuring all department expenses are processed
