• Motivating and manage team members (2-Teamleaders, 20-operators, 4-hyster drivers, 6-tool setters, 4-machine tool fitters, 3-electricians).
• Weekly Power Point presentations to management on scrap and other Ford measures.
• Weekly JPH (JOBS PER HOUR) presentation to management on machine performance.
• Compiling of OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) data to better maintain machine and equipment.
• Initiating of VRT’s (Variability Reduction Team’s). Doing of process mapping (Value Stream Mapping).
Implementing of FPS (Ford production systems) & 6-Sigma. Training team in problem solving techniques.
• Training of new Line Co-odenators.
• Part of Flawless Launch team (checking suppliers
• Areas of responsibility include: Rocam Crank line, Rocam Block line, B-series manifold & Engine Mounting bracket.
• Maintaining Quality standards and Production totals.
