Job Rule: Senior Network Engineer
CSC is a governmental Kuwaiti Sector which support the citizens in Kuwait, CSC has the largest Network infrastructure in the Whole Kuwait which connection all other ministries & Banks in Kuwait
CSC Also hosting the Data Center Infrastructure for the main governmental sectors in Kuwait such as MOCI, MOSAL
My area of expertise located in three major tasks: R&S, VOIP & Data Center
- Citrix NetScaler administrator
• Configuration & installation on the NetScaler MPX Appliance & VPX image
• Configuring different load balancing features such as Content Switching, Appflow, SSL Offloading
• Configuring different servers, service Groups & monitors
- VOIP Activities:
• Implementation for VOIP system, Cisco Call manager, Voice gateway, Voice mail and meeting place
• Make Installation and Upgrade for Cisco call manager versions 6.(1), 7.(0) and 7.(1), 8.(0), 8.(5), 8.(6), 9.1 & 10.0.
• Implementation for Cisco Unity
• Implementation for Cisco Presence 7.(0), 8.(0), 8.(5) & 9.1.
• Implementation for Cisco Meeting Place 8.5 WebEx Scheduling, multi-node and single node with or without WebEx node.
• Implementation for Telepresence system (endpoints, VCS control, VCS Expressway.
- CISCO NETWORKS - Design, Implementation &, Support:
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
• LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, routing protocols, RIPv2, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP.
• Switching - VLANs, VTP, STP, MSTP, , Etherchannels, QinQ, Frame relay
• IPv6, Security
• Service Provider technologies - MPLS, MP-BGP, L2/L3 VPNs
• Traffic Engineering, FRR, Multicast PIM
• NAT, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, SNMP, NTP
• Design & Implementation of Video Conferencing Solutions
• Configuring and Troubleshooting IPSEC SITE TO SITE VPN.
• Configuring and troubleshooting Remote Access VPN.
• GRE over IPSEC configuration and troubleshooting.
• Designing and providing recommendations for VPN
• Working with InfoBlox DNS, DHCP server
• Working with NevoTube (IPTV Video Streamer)
• Working with FORTIGATE Security appliance, Creating VPN & different users privileges
• Excellent knolwedge of moitoring technologies such as SYSLOG, SNMP, SPAN, RSPAN, NETFLOW
• Excellent knolwedge of WAN protocols such as Frame-Relay, HDLC, PPP
• Working with Solarwind
• Connecting 45 different remote sites through redundant connections with the main site using DMVPN IPSEC Tunnels
- Data Center:
• Configuring VPC, OTV, VDC & Different NX-OS Technologies
• UCS-C and UCS-B series and connections to Fabric interconnect.
• Cisco Nexus 2K, 5K and 7K \[VDC, Port profiles, FEX, Port channels, VPC, HSRP, STP, ACL, QOS, Fabric Path & OTV\].
• VMware ESXi installation and deployment
• Good knowledge with Cisco Nexus 1000v.
• Cisco Prime Provisioning and Assurance deployment
-Working as CCNA Instructor According Cisco Network Academy Guidelines traine the trainees on the Actual Devices - Network Consultation & Design activities
- Working as a Network Engineer for supporting multiple customers & troubleshooting netwroks faulties
- Participating in multiple VOIP projects as a technical support
Job Rule: Technical Support Engineer
• Install and troubleshoot standard computer networks
• Independently repair individual and isolated PC problems
• Ensure appropriate setting up of compound computer networks by organizing and coding systems of wires and cables
• Identify computer problems using specific diagnostic and repair tools
• Set up, check and maintain a range of private computing and office network systems
• Assemble and document all system procedures as guidelines for new employees and reference materials for computer technicians
• Ensure thorough inventory of computer related supplies is recorded and maintained
• Provide the network system administrator with back-up
• Install and upgrade anti-virus software constantly
• Help in supplying desktop computer program options
• Respond to requests from customers or internal non-tech employees
• OMS also is the sole agent for Scantron Corporation in Egypt which is a company specialized in data collection solutions which can eliminate manual data entry including handprint, machine print and bubble mark information. From forms design to precision printing and on-time delivery, Scantron also offers world-class print solutions for our customers
• Building and maintaining customer user accounts, setting up roaming user profiles
• Installing Microsoft office on windows systems
• Applying remote access policies
• Executing, running, and maintaining a MS Windows Server 2003 & 2008 Network Infrastructure
• Planning, implementing, and maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory infrastructure
• Technical help desk experience
- Participating in the setup of many projects in Egypt such as:
• 1-The Archiving solution & network infrastructure for the Egyptian sales taxes offices in Egypt for more than 240 office around the whole country
• 2-The installation of the digital lab of Alex Library
• 3-The network & IT infrastructure of Dar El Mahfozat Building - installing 40 servers with total capacity of 160 TERA byte and connecting it to the central data base of the Egyptian building tax authority
