Responsible for the compilation and review of the Global Supply Chain Strategy :

• Execute, assist and monitor global strategic supply chain studies and projects linked to strategic objectives and initiatives.
• Lead Strategic Initiatives PMO and report directly to Global Supply Chain VP

Defines and drives the implementation of the global supply chain sourcing strategy, across SBU’s, in order to capture maximum synergies for SABIC. As such he contributes to the global supply chain strategy and safeguards transport & storage capacity for SABIC against agreed service levels (sustainability, quality, delivery reliability and security of supply) with the SBU’s and delivers maximized savings on the total cost of ownership for all categories

Major achievements :
Established with SBU team sourcing governance ( Policy, Processes and Procedures )
Led SQAS and SHEM implementation at SBU's SC 3PL
Led multi-SBU team to develop different sourcing standard contracts template and sourcing approach

Major achievements :
Logistics department was the a major concern to the organization, causing majority of the customers complaints having two managers resigned in less than two years from the same position; I took over the position in addition to my current one and led the team with extensive efforts along with other leaders and managed to return the department back on track in less than five months and yet lots of objectives to be achieved
Participated successfully in developing career path line and competency for Global Supply Organization with main focus on Logistics .

Leading +40 employees including Manager (a), Supervisors and a Planner of different functions including:

Freight Forwarding contract administration
MRO, Chemical, Raw material and progjects Orders management, Overseas transportation, Overseas consolidation and dispatch; local customs clearance, transportation and consolidation and documentation set up, KPI's and performance.

Led a project to develop global processes and procedures for two newly built organization within Sabic Global Procurement ( global direct and Indirect Procurement) including : Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier Qualification, Supplier Evaluation, Contract Implementation and Competitive Bidding Guidelines .
Led a team to develop global procurement portal ( USA, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Singapore )
