-Direct, manage, monitor, validate and control projects processes, discussing issues and variation orders in
mechanical works and provide all required documents and technical support to prevent undesirable
changes and maintain the projects baselines.
-Responsible for reviewing and / or approving HVAC, plumbing and Fire Protection & life safety systems
design concept, Technical drawings, Technical calculation and other relevant document to help Project
Stage deliverables from concept design up to Project Close Out.
-Commissioning approval for mechanical systems on site.
Technical support engineer in General Directorate of Projects and Maintenance:
- Review and approval of cooling load calculations and HVAC shop drawings and assuring their
compatibility to ASHRAE and SMACNA.
-Review and approval of sizing and layout of ductwork and piping systems (chilled water network, hot &
cold water, vent, waste, compressed air, etc.).
-Review and approval of sizing, selection and layout of mechanical equipment (Chillers, Cooling Towers,
Pumps, Air Handling Units, Fans, VAV Systems, Piping and Ductwork Accessories, etc.).
- Approval of material submittals for mechanical works; such as HVAC equipment and accessories
according to the BOQ and project specifications.
-Review and approve water and drainage calculations and shop drawings according to IPC and UPC codes.
-Review and approve fire fighting shop drawings according to NFPA and project requirements.
-Approval of pumps calculations in the projects (fire fighting, domestic and drainage pumps).
- Designing HVAC systems; chilled water and direct expansion air -conditioning.
- HVAC load calculations.
- Designing firefighting, water supply and drainage systems.
- Project coordination with architects, civil and electrical engineers.
- Developing excel sheets, detailed drawings and CAD tools related to work.
- Supervision and site work.

-Carrying out equipment selections, pricing, quotation preparation in time bound manner based on customer provided information.
