Client :Joint Operation "Oil & Gas Field" (Kuwait Gulf Oil Company / Saudi Arabian Chevron)

Position : Instrumentation & Control Engineer.

Period : October 2008 till September 2013.

Location : Al-Wafra, Kuwait.

Nature of Work:

•diversified experience in instrumentation selection, installation, testing, calibration and commissioning during the project construction period.
•Analysis and interpretation of statistical data, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and client specifications.
•Supports projects during engineering, construction and commissioning identifying solving complex, multi-disciplinary problems.
•Commission, calibration and maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical valves and replacement of its internal modules if necessary.

•Commission, calibration and maintenance of pressure, temperature, level and vibration transmitters and replacement of its internal modules if necessary.

•Commissioning and creating the preventive maintenance plan for the Steam Generators (25MMBTU/HR and 10MMBTU/HR) according to the maintenance manuals and the wiring diagrams.

•Procurement and material inspection for the plant instruments and equipments spare parts.
•Preparation of the Project Specific Work Instructions(PSWIs).
•Experienced with a PLC System of Allen Bradley.

2. M/s. Abu Sultan Steam Power Plant (600 MW)

Client : Ministry of Electricity, Egypt
Position : Instrumentation & Control Engineer.
Period : May 2005 to October 2008
Location : Egypt

Nature of Work:

•Dealing with GE turbine/generator (3000 rpm, 50HZ, 15KV) Control System (MARK V) via Logic & Wiring Diagrams.
•Calibration and Maintenance of MKTI 4500 Opacity Measurement Unit for the stack of the Steam Boiler.
•Installation, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic transmitters & control microprocessor based (Level, pressure, flow, Temperature).
•Adjusting the positioner and maintaining the actuators of the Pneumatic Valves (Fisher & Foxboro)
•Calibration of Electro-pneumatic valve petitioner (Masonilane & Fisher).
•Troubleshooting of the Fire Protection System using the Wiring Diagrams and the concerned Logic Diagrams.
•Maintenance of the Air Compressors using the Logic Diagrams and Circuit Diagrams.
•Troubleshooting of the Hydrogen Generation System
•Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified.
•Dealing with a Distributed Control System (DCS) provided by Honeywell as following:
a)Troubleshooting the errors and faults by tracking them from the process point up to the Field Terminal Arrays (part of DCS system) using the Logic and Schematic Diagram.
b)Monitoring and analyzing of the parameters and root reasons related to the improvement of the effectively of the Steam Power Plant.
