Checking the budget comparison prepared by the cost team located at site to verify the under or over budget packages and their impact on the project margin, in loose packages I am arranging for brainstorming session (conference or face to face) to get the corrective action, taking into consideration the package criticality in order not to has negative schedule impact which in turn impacting the project margin.
•Review the cost and commitment reports and ensuring that all the work packages cost has allocated properly.
•Arranging for the quarter review workshop coordinated with the project and area managers to study the current project situation and the forecasted time and cost, in addition we are preparing the P&L and the cash flow statements
•Preparing portfolio manpower and equipment schedules to start allocating them from project to another based on the schedules and projects priority system (Bubble chart method or another)
•Preparing portfolio report showing the P&L statement (cost and revenue) and cash flow statement to determine the project situation, is it self-funded or it need external fund, by this way we will guarantee the sacred cow projects running smoothly to achieve the organization strategic goals.
