Working as Network Engineer at one of the biggest Cisco Golden Partner at Egypt gained me a lot of experience at network filed mainly at Cisco products
Main job is to Design and Implement Unified Network solution including Voice, Security, Wireless and WAN Connections
oImplementing site surveys for active, passive and wireless coverage
oImplementing complete network solution design with BOM & Drawings
oSupports sales team through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities
oInterfaces with customers to determine short and long-term technical requirements
oDesigns voice and data network solutions for customer applications, including preparation of network topologies and technical specifications
oPrepares and presents technical proposals on Time Warner Cable's products and services, as well as how those products can be integrated and implemented within customer's network
oResponsible for all technical content of the proposal process, including RFI, RFQ and RFP responses and technical designs
oConducts customer site surveys as required to insure successful installation of services
oProvides technical sales support to insure successful customer integration and implementation of company solutions
o Handles complex questions encountered during installation and turn-up concerning solution design and equipment operation
o Responsible for designing and implementing Wireless Network Projects including Indoor, outdoor, High Density.
o Conduct Wireless Survey and POC for various features at Aruba Wireless System
o Partner Training through awareness Session and Hands on Workshops
o Give Training for WLAN System to customers and partner
o Held presentation for the solution and required Technical design documentation and drawings
o Implementation of Network Project includes preparing Implementation plan, Documentation and configuration on site- Training and after sales support and troubleshooting
oResponsible for designing and implementing Network Projects including Switching, Routing, Voice, Security and especially Wireless projects.
oContact with Vendors, Distributer (Cisco, HP, Fortigate, Aruba ) to prepare the best desing which met customer needs and budget
oGive Training for WLAN System to customers
oHeld presentation for the solution and required Technical design documentation and drawings
oImplementation of Network Project includes preparing Implementation plan, Documentation and configuration on site and client support
oProvides pre-sales, installations and post-sales network engineering support as needed
Responsible for designing and implementing network projects. Leading and overseeing a team of engineers assisting with these projects.
Prepares and presents technical proposals on network products and services, as well as how those products can be integrated and implemented within customer's network
Evaluates vendor products to determine those which best meet the company needs; assists in the presentation of information to management resulting in the purchase and installation of hardware and software.
Interfaces with customers to determine short and long-term technical requirements
Handles complex questions encountered during installation and turn-up concerning solution design and equipment operation
Installing and configuring IP camera, VOIP Phones and Finger print machines
Manage all Network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, Servers and UPSs.
Manage servers including Server applications such as Operating Systems and services, Active directory, Print Servers, backups, web site servers, Exchange and ISA
Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware, software and peripheral devices.
Perform Network design and capacity planning
Create and Maintain Documentation as it relates to Network Configuration and Mapping
Teaching introduction to network fundamentals and troubleshooting basic LAN Problems
