Job Description: Post Contract Responsibilities:
•Responsibilities included the coordination and quantification of all Engineering documents related to Mechanical trades (Firefighting, HVAC &Plumping).
•Preparing BOQ.
•Verification of installed quantities, validation and verification of all sub-contract unit price invoices (where applicable).
•Preparing monthly cash flow, turnover and target reports.
•Preparing, submitting and follow up the variation orders.
•Preparing and submitting monthly client payment.
•Field auditing and verification of installed quantities, and all other quantity and progress related.
•Preparing monthly progress report.
•Follow up on engineering changes to determine impact on cost and quantities, monitoring modifications and extra work activities. Pre-contract Responsibilities:
•Responsibilities included the coordination and quantification of all Engineering documents related to MEP trades.
•Receiving the MEP tender package and double checking if there is any missing data.
•Highlighting all missing data and questions for sending the query.
•Making sure the method statement is matching with POMI (Principle of Measurement International).
•Reading materials specs.
•Preparing Materials take-off then preparing BOQ according to tender drawings.
•Sending the BOQ to suppliers according to vendor list.
•Follow up with suppliers until receiving their offers.
•Making a comparison between offers and choosing the suitable options.
•Preparing cost estimation sheet with analyzing the BOQ items price.
•Pricing the BOQ according to selected options in breakdown sheets.
•Preparing value engineering & cost saving strategies (if needed).
•Negotiating with owner.
•Managing and controlling project budget throughout project lifetime from startup till handover to ensure all packages are achieved within budget.
