1. Act as the SPA for all TARs carried out in the GoS.

• Create SOW for mini and/or major TAR by liaison with Offshore Integrity Team and Offshore Production (OIM/AGM/GM).
• Use Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) to dump and then refine all open work orders to be added to TAR SOW.
• Identify shutdown dependent and opportunistic tasks with coordination with Offshore Production.
• Lead and organize SD meetings to define the required workscope from all disciplines.
• Challenge and optimize TAR plan to get best plan to complete tasks with minimal down time and production deferral.
• Plan TAR SOW and identify each task’s duration, resources required, and tasks sequence using MS Projects.
• Follow up all preparations required to kick off the TAR by liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and confirm their readiness.
• Check and review Work Safety procedures.
• Check and verify of shutdown boundary isolations (including multiple satellite platforms).
• Verify the SD MTO is prepared and reviewed. Ensure required material, equipment, and tolls are available in SD location.
• Coordinate with Maintenance/Construction/Projects managers to review resources requirements for timely completion of each scope of work.
• Manage Logistics required to carrying TAR out successfully.
• Manage and control PSSR (Pre Start-up Safety Review) to assure the operations readiness for start-up.
• Check and review leak test procedures.
• Prepare the final shutdown report and lessons learned.

2. Interface with GoS General Maintenance, Construction, Projects, and Rehab teams.

• Create, prioritise, and formalize the Anomaly Intervention Program for GoS Production Satellites.
• Ensure that all anomalies are subject to engineering evaluation / failure analysis / fitness for purpose assessment with identification of remedial and recommended follow up actions.
• Liaise with Integrity dept. to pull together and prioritise all the anomalies associated with a Satellite in a bookies board tracker.
• Liaise with General Maintenance to pull together and prioritise all other non-anomalies issues.
• Liaise with Projects, General Maintenance and/or Construction to create execution plan.
• Challenge the Oil-to-Oil TAR duration to carry out all the SD dependent tasks in most achievable minimal production outage.
• Proven track record of operations planning execution.

3. Drive improvements in safety performance of Offshore Production individuals.

• Lead powerful safety culture within OIMs and Production Supervisors by complying with GoS Practice.
• Coach Offshore Production teams in complying with Process Safety Guidelines and Procedures.
• Support in the identification and mitigation of process safety & personal safety risk.
• Ensure CoW is enforced and followed, conduct random audit on CoW.
• Ensure Operational Risk Assessments are in place when deviating from normal operations.
• Member in incident or any unplanned production losses investigation teams.
• Use the DE-RCFA methodology for identifying the root causes of any failure.
• Audit Overrides/inhibits register, LO/LC valves register.

4. Provide day-to-day operational supports to the Offshore Operations ensuring production is delivered safely.

• Act as SPA for Operational support to small projects arising in the GoS operating facilities.
• Carry out Operations input to FCP (Facility Change Process) proposals.
• Review offshore production complexes operating data and procedures, ensure operating procedures are followed.
• Ensure plant defects and risks are identified, prioritized, and systematically resolved.
• Apply CI thinking and tools to eliminate defects and sustain results.
• Coach individuals and teams on CI projects utilizing BP’s 7 Step Problem Solving methodology, as appropriate.
• Actively champion safety programs: SOC, STOP, and Near Miss.
• Coach existing Operations staff in safe Operations practices.

Process Engineer at SEGAS LNG Plant - Union Fenosa Gas

• Monitor the plant efficiency on monthly basis; follow up the performance of different units and equipment.
• Follow up operation activities, correct possible upsets.

• Supervise and lead 2 Junior Shift Engineers, 2 DCS Operators & 6 operators (shift staff).
• Carry out normal operation and front-line troubleshooting with very good command of DCS & FSC systems “Honeywell”.
• Check the efficiency of the different equipment and discuss the causes and the different alternatives.
• Report the daily production report & process activities to the main head office in Cairo.
• Participate in the preparation for the different shutdowns, through preparing the marked-up P&ID, Isolation Registers, and tracking the shift staff.
• Carry out process isolation procedures and isolation registers for any unit or vessel.
• Report and arrange with maintenance crew for equipment maintenance and any equipment failure.
• Follow up all PM's & CM's for all the equipment in the plant.
• Plan with Maintenance and attend annual and semi-annual overhauls programs of process equipment (compressors, pumps, heaters, columns, generators, etc….).
• Follow up with the laboratory to achieve the recommended gas & condensate specifications.
• Have the authority to issue all types of work permits.
• Follow up all safety means around the plant to implement the operation target safe and smooth.
• On-Job-Training and technical assistance; formal and informal training to Operations Personnel on an ongoing basis.
• Review the design works of vendors for the new project of (SGT3 & 4) at Salam to establish new gas plant that capable of producing 200 MMSCFD of sales gas and 16, 000 BPD of Condensate.
• Review of in-house engineering works including process calculations, drawings, PFD and P&ID development using HYSYS software and check also vendor's proposal studies, streams Specifications and Data Sheets for the new project.
• Member of the team which reviewed and approved the P & ID and PFD and carried out the punch list of the new established plant in KPC (SGT3 & 4).
