• Assists clients with the preparation of registration documents and submission to the Department of Income Tax (“DIT”) at the Kuwait Ministry of Finance (“MOF”).
• Preparation of Tax Declarations and Tax basis financial statements and ensuring the submission of the tax declaration along with other mandatory documents to the MOF within the set deadlines.
• Preparation of Material, Design and Consultancy Cost Schedules, Agency Fees calculation, Administration costs and determining disallowances for other various costs as per the Executive Rules and Regulations of the Kuwait Tax Law.
• Presents and prepares documents and samples of transactions for verifications of supporting documents such as relevant agreements, invoices and evidence of payments for tax audit/inspections and to the tax inspectors at the MOF.
• Attends tax inspection meetings and liaising with the tax inspectors at the MOF for clarifications required and communicating their requirements to clients.
• Assists clients with preparation of Requests for No Objection Letters and Tax Clearance Certificates to be obtained from the MOF as well as preparation and submission of the mandatory documents with regard to the Tax Retention Regulations, on a quarterly basis to the MOF.
• Inspect and manage the reportable accounts as per the CRS and FATCA regulations.
• Advising the financial entities in relation to the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard(CRS) compliance and implementation.
