covering the end to end Supply Chain responsibility reporting directly to the COO with 5 functional heads as direct reports and a total team capacity of approx. 100 team members from various nationalities and located between Dubai - UAE, Riyadh - KSA, Cairo - Egypt, Libya, Turkey, Iran and Tunisia .
Regular contact with other global plants and offices as a customer or a supplier comes also within scope, which covers but not limited to :
• Leading the Supply chain function within MEA covering
1. Planning (Demand, Capacity, material & production planning) .
2. Sourcing (Materials & Services) .
3. Delivery (Logistics and Warehousing) .
4. Pre-print (Artwork development cylinder engraving) .
• Part of the Executive Management team with (CEO, COO, CPO, CMO, CFO) in setting and executing company strategies .
• Owner of purchasing & logistics budget .
• Leading S&OP process (ownership remains with business)
• Team development and re-structuring .
• Acting as a consultant to customers to identify synchronization and integration opportunities .
Key Achievements :
• Design and implementation of S&OP process (Best practice to be rolled-out globally) .
• Design and implementation of SLA with suppliers and customers.
• Re-designed the whole SC function (Back to Basic Function) .
• Setup of Safety stock model and planning tools to improve FC accuracy .
• Leading SAP improved utilization project and production planning software.
• Leading 5 local production sites (Within GCC) and co-coordinating with more than 20 sites globally .
• Responsible for the continuous optimized flow of products to 21 countries and +50 distributors within MENA.
• Managing both ends of the supply chain (Demand and Supply).
• Establishing and setup of total Logistics Model in 21 countries across GCC and NA .
• Accountable for service targets (PFR & OFR) as well as business targets (NWC, GM and NR) .
• Setting Supply chain strategy for MENA and contributing in the AME supply strategy through identifying potential sourcing hubs .
• Setting KPIs for direct reports on both Demand and Supply sides .
• Exploring sourcing and supply opportunities.
• Contributing in meeting all Business and Supply Chain Targets.
• Owning the full logistics budget .
