1. Engineering
• Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical design plans and work schedules.
• Liaising with clients and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Preparing electrical design reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimate throughout the primary design and detail design stages.
• Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
• Review the bidding documents then determine the Scope of work.
• Prepare a request of variation if required.
• Design of power system for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Design of instrumentation and control panels for water and wastewater plants.
• Electrical system analysis and calculations (Load Calculation, Power factor calculation, Cable sizing, short circuit calculation, Generator sizing using, ... etc.).
• Coordination with various process engineering disciplines associated with water and wastewater design.
• Review proposals from equipment vendors, especially electrical and instrumentation equipment vendors.
• Developing P&IDs, processing electrical drawings and specifications.
2. Implementations and monitoring
• Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical activities at site.
• Determine with clients and contractor’s staff to determine and verify project requirements.
• Oversee electrical and control system construction for water and wastewater projects.
• Test components, equipment, and systems to ensure they’re safe, reliable, and comply with requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to obtain field As-Built data and conditions.
• Supervision of FAT and SAT and electrical system commissioning.
• Resolve issues related to electric systems or devices that arise during the construction stage.
• Provide required manpower with coordination with PM and HR.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required.
• conduct tests of electrical systems throughout the construction process.
3. Scheduling:
• Prepare and update the deliverable lists based on scope of work.
• Prepare and submit a weekly and monthly report to Engineering Management about work progress.

• Distribute the work to the design team and ensure high efficiency performance.
• Request, Interview and hire the required resources.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines regarding the design and coordinate with other departments (Project & Procurements).
• Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical activities at site.

• Selection & sizing of the equipment.
