Responsibilities

• responsible for the drawing up of syllabuses/schemes of work; Departmental hand-outs for Open Morning; the Faculty handbook; display and the general appearance of the Department
• responsible for the selection of text books and teaching materials, and the methods of teaching used by members of the Department
• was accountable to the Headmaster for all budgeting within the Department, and the implementation of Health and Safety Policies within the area
• responsible for the furniture and fabric within the Department
• attended Academic Forum meetings
• attended Sixth Form Registration Day before the start of each academic year
• provided the Deputy Head (Academic) with timetable allocation of Department
