Construction of turn-key project for 2 new branches of Etihad Bank in Irbid city, applying the most recent theme of Etihad Bank design.
* serving as primary field contact between the client and the Contractor, proactively
engaging and leading the Contractor to successfully perform, complete and close out contracts.
* Monitor construction-progress to ensure actual progress meets planned progress and
critical milestones.
* Resolve design clarifications and site conditions to facilitate construction progress.
* Chair weekly / bi-weekly progress meetings and other meetings as-needed. Generate
meeting minutes. Follow up on action-pending items.
* Enforce compliance of the contractor’s safety program to achieve zero accidents.
* Supervise field engineers to ensure the Contractor’s quality of works complies with
contract design and specifications, applicable codes.
* Receive and review technical submittals (Material Submittals, Method of Statement,
Pre-Qualification, Calculation reports, lab. reports and shop drawings in a timely manner
for compliance with contract requirements.
* Coordinate and resolve interfaces between different disciplines within the contract.
* Review variations submitted by the Contractor and provide accurate measures for its
evaluation.
*Manage contractor’s monthly progress payment application by ensuring timely
ascertainment of quantities of completed works by field engineers and quantity surveyors
and timely submittal of invoices by the Contractor.
* Ensure Contractor’s compliance with administrative procedures (e.g. as-built drawings,
inspection notices, etc.).
* Review material testing reports and evaluate the results.
* Review drawing and specification packages for new contracts as required by Engineering
and other Departments.
* Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
*Handle the official correspondences with the contractor.
* Manage the overall project and be the company’s sole representative as a full time project manager
* Startup of works in accordance to contract documents and defined scope of work.
* Lead the construction team and provide the full technical support and guidance.
* Review and study the contract documents including Conditions of Contract, BOQ, Scope of work, Specifications, etc..
* Coordinate with the client/consultant in order to ensure the fulfillment of the project scope and vision of stakeholders.
* Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring that the competent ones only are selected to fulfill the site requirements in a fair and transparent manner, then monitor and evaluate their performance progressively.
* Oversee the beginning of the project, including details like building permit submission and authorities NOC's.
* Preparation and review of engineering works which include but not limited to (Material Submittals, Method Statements, Pre-qualifications, Shop Drawings, Technical Proposals, Calculation Reports, BBS, etc….)
* Review the Project Baseline Program and initiate project milestones in accordance with client goals.
* Monitor and control progress in accordance with the agreed time frames, and ensure that the look ahead programs are strictly followed by the team members at the site.
* Ensure that management is both aware of and able to provide the required resources, and that available resources are properly utilized and accounted for at the required time frames.
* Identify where change is required, plan for variations and ensures that change management protocols are implemented.
* Conduct regular meetings on site with the consultant, client representative and construction crew.
* Evaluate the performance of each team member in terms of accuracy, productivity, commitment, attitude, etc.. And ensure that appropriate actions are taken where team performance deviates from agreed tolerance levels.
* Provide guidelines to the construction team in order to achieve specific milestones in a timely manner.
* Ensure that HSE rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are strictly followed.
* Prepare and submit the interim payment applications, and following up payment certification.
* Establish Engineering Logs, Quality Logs, and all other required logs with regular updates and records.
* Conduct internal final work inspections at site prior to inviting for Authority/Consultant inspections.
* Manage each team member individually to make sure the duties assigned to them are being followed properly.
* Maintaining the required documents and project files in an organized manner and make good arrangement for audit purposes.
* Distribute the updated approved documents (shop drawings, method statements, etc..) regularly to site team and make sure that the latest documents are only followed at site at all times.

Responsibilities:
* Leading the construction team providing full technical advice and site supervision.
* Supervise the workers during the civil, structural & surveying technical implementation of the project step by step.
* Ensuring that HSE rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully enforced.
*Site surveying and setting out, dimensional control.
* Ensuring that all works are done as per the approved drawings and contract specifications in order to achieve client satisfaction.
* Planning and managing sequence of work activities in order to achieve the target milestones as per project time schedule considering site conditions and available resources.
* Estimating quantities and requesting materials as per approved related submittals.
* Preparing required shop drawings, steel B.B.S and any other complicated details.
* Prepare daily site progress reports outlining project activities, prepare detailed estimates related to construction, highlight challenges and propose solutions and corrective action to Project Manager.
