Duties:
1- Protection system coordination and settings calculation for the whole national
power grid requirements within 33 KV and 11KV level.
2- Handling daily events on the network, analyzing faults and protection trips and solving problems.
3- Functional verification of protection schemes design.
4- Participate in and leading commissioning teams for power stations, transmission and distribution substations with different voltage levels 110kV, 66kV, 33kV and 11kV.
5- Reviewing of technical specifications for new substations projects.
6- Performing protection coordination studies and short circuit analysis using ETAP analysis tool.
7- Performing protection system maintenance (corrective and preventive), for different voltage levels 220kV, 110kV, 66kV, 33kV and 11kV.
8- Acquaintance of protection technology and power system analysis.
9- Participate with team members to contribute to ongoing projects.
10- Compile statistics required to produce the power system protection annual report.
