• Handled procurement valued close to $25.07mn annually which includes factory purchases (import & domestic), project purchase, asset purchase with 2 buyers and a sourcing assistant as direct reportees to me.
• Member of ME Leadership Team, lead procurement reviews with Supply Chain leadership team.
• Responsible for process improvement initiatives across Supply Chain incl: Purchase, strategic sourcing, vendor management, inventory planning and control, production scheduling, vendor scorecard, logistics & W/H mgmt.

• Preparation of annual sourcing strategy in concurrence with market realities and overall business strategy.
• Adherence to regulations, guidelines & requirements set by the competent Authorities and statutory Auditors.
• Executing quarterly rate contracts post negotiation with international suppliers & rolling out supply schedules to maintain inventory stocking levels, without deviating on
AOP targets.
• Instrumental in formulating policies, SOPs, MoM, corporate MIS, Quality MIS also managing process control MIS for Pan-India branches and identify outliers for further analysis.
• Benchmarking end-product with that of competition against various instruments & preparing score-card.
• Supplier rating basis POI, delivery adherence, incoming quality, fill-rate, freight bill accuracy, ordering cycle time, price, non-conformity, claims.
• Close monitoring of shipment schedules, preparing cash-flow statement to avoid clearance delays.
• Direct involvement in all high cost procurement
decisions, pan-India contracts, high impact initiatives.
• Inspect & sign off all project spares and machinery received, by validating docs & write-ups to ensure supply falls to that of specifications mentioned in PO.
• Lead procurement operations in MPM owned plants in 7 countries across APAC, Middle East and Europe.
• Evaluating supply time frame for timely replenishment of RM grades to register sales.
• Validating MOQ & SS levels in ERP & flagging in weekly review with PM and taking allocation.
• Entrusting process orders on Toller for repacking, relabelling, re-filling for commercial adv. & TAT.
• Analysing forecasting signals & identifying gaps that leads to stock-outs & liaising with prod. schedulers.
• Periodic review: DG, OOS, Partial, dented, short shelf-life grades in Tots, IBCs, Drums, Pails & Cartridges.
• Buyer for branch operations: prod items, spares, RM & PM, consumables, Chemicals, CapEx, MRO items.
• Strictly aligned purchases according to company‟s
purchase policies & leveraged purchase performance.
• Spearheaded execution of 3PL & Logistics Contracts, OEM/Non-OEM Contracts, O&M contracts & SLAs.
• Ensured facility readiness: Forklifts, Tuggers, stackers, Dock levellers, storage racks for micro management.
• Commended for renewing annual contracts involving manpower with zero price escalation for FY 11-12.
• Finalizing BOM, rolling out TOR to suppliers for preparedness in meeting the supply targets & OTIF.
• Planning & floating weekly schedules to prod to meet customer orders & monitoring prod throughput.
